    Rose, Melo, and Porzingis

    vs

    Westbrook, Ibaka and Adams

Perennial lottery team in the East

    vs

Top tier title contending team in the West

Why do these journalists insist on putting their personal preference for teams going after a certain player in their articles? Almost everyone is going after Durant, there's no secrets..

Knick fans can dream like Houston fans.

Harden and scrub supporting cast, not much better than Rose, Melo, Porzingis

but you have the Warriors, Spurs, and Clippers in the West. and only the Cavs in the East. pretty much guaranteed a Conference finals bid w/ Durant in the East

Our dream involves a player that Durant had a close relationship with on court and still has one off court.

Their dream involves selling Durant on a past-his-prime point guard that can't shoot or defend plus a player that's a total black hole that can't even get his team into the playoffs in the East.

Of course both are wild dreams but one has some plausibility while the other one is ridiculous.

lol nothing is guaranteed. Wasn't the Wizards supposed to have been a Top 3 team this year in the East?

The Thunder was one chokejob away from making it to the Finals.

Durant would instantly make NY a contender in the East like how Lebron made Cleveland a contender as soon as he returned.

Also, Lebron had a cake walk to the NBA Finals.

The Warriors had to come out of the tough West.

Durant going to the East is pretty much the Lebron formula to contend for a championship

I think you're overestimating how much Durant cares to play with Harden. I'm sure they're good friends, that doesn't mean Harden is at the top of Durant's list of players he'd like to play with. You can be friends with one player but prefer to play with another player that you're not as close with.

With our without Harden, Durant's path to the Conference finals is much easier in the East.

It's unbelievable to me that some people really think Durant is going to be interested in playing for this Knicks team...with Rose and Melo...just lol.

    Also, you're a homer.

NY fans can say the same thing.
Sure, Rose is over the hill. But who do the Rockets have, Pat Bev??
Harden is a "total black hole" like you mentioned Melo
I like how you completely left out up and coming Porzingis. Who does Rockets have?

And playing in a much easier conference? Same logic Lebron never left the East, right? This matters, if you're not one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the West, which the Rockets are not.

State income tax? That's the Texas advantage right? The NY advantage is more sponsorship money. We can't ignore that either.

It is ridiculous. But just as ridiculous as Durant coming to Houston.

Just so much homerism its nauseating

I'm a homer because I see Houston as a better destination than New York? Lol okay.

And newsflash: OKC was one of the top 2-3 teams in the West. So even if he's not going to Houston my original post that you decided to take on a tangent for no reason still applies. Why. Go to a bottom feeder team when OKC has the talent already?

This doesn't even bring up the fact that the Knicks already has an All-Star small forward on the roster. Lmk who you're going to move to power forward so I can laugh.

Lol if it's that nauseating then don't bring Houston up because I sure didn't in my original post. :p

It would have to be big numbers like $30 million a season to compensate for NY's socialist taxes.
