I think if that were Maher of the Cowboys...he would have missed it, too. I knew he shouldn't have kicked that first one on the timeout. He should have pulled up. He thought he was getting a practice kick in but he basically jinxed himself out of his one good kick.

I'd legit be worried about that kid's safety. Luckily in football it's easier to be in public incognito since you're usually seen wearing a helmet.

So much for a 12-4 season. What a horrible way to lose for the fans. I don't like either team but was rooting for Foles, since he is from Austin. I do feel sorry for Chicago's kicker though. Nobody would want to be in his shoes right now.

I didn’t care at all who won until he missed it. That just sucks.

If foles wins another Superbowl does Wentz deserve to start over him?

If the writers of a football movie name a kicker "Cody Parkey," it would be rejected as sounding way too much like a Hollywood kicker character's name.

This makes Cubs fans sad, and therefore I approve.

If Foles won 2 straight SuperBowls he would go down in history asmtheynguy who gave the Eagles 2 straight Championships, yet not a starting job. They will still start Wentz and he will go somewhere else where he is a starter.

Yeah...I'm now rooting for the Eagles just to see what they will do with Foles if he wins two straight.

Yes this is my favorite storyline, if it somehow repeats and they dump him... I'dbe listening to Philly talk radio 24/7 for a while

If he wins the Superbowl, he'll be their long-term starter.
