Maybe in the near future, sports will be decided by competent refs. I don't think i would have slept well tonight if I was a Saints fan.

Blame the refs all you want but all Saints had to do was run it three times and kick a FG after that long pass. There wouldn't have been **** left on that clock for the Rams to work with.

I hate that it happened that way but I am halfway to getting what I want in the Super Bowl. I would really like to see a Mahomes Goff showdown in the Super Bowl. Feel bad for the Saints because they deserve to win but the refs screwed them on multiple bad calls.

iirc, Rams had 2 or 3 TOs at that point. So there would have been time for the Rams.

Had the refs not screwed the Saints, Saints could have then run it 3 times, kicked a FG, and then left the Rams with like, less than 10 seconds.

Don't really care who comes out of the NFC. I just don't want to see the chiefs win. I cant stand Mahomes.

They would have used 2 timeouts (that were left) on the first 2 plays with 1:56 remaining from first down. Then, 3rd and 4th down. How much time would be left? Not much. And, Saints might have even broken a run for a first down. You don't pass it there. It's like they wanted to win by 7 instead of 3.

They would have had about 30 seconds left. But still, they decided to pass and the pass interference should have been called. Saints should have run the ball, but that doesn't excuse the missed call.

So The Rams leave LA for 21 years, watch St.Louis win a Super Bowl, come back to Los Angeles, and within 3 years are going to the SuperBowl! Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston Bill is saying “Doesn't matter Brian 9-7 division champs, Brian!”

There is some true irony and curse going on here, so we end up taking Los Angeles’s expansion team when Bob McNair won the rights to the Texans and they still end up going to the Super Bowl before us! Sigh

There would have been over a minute left and Rams would have only needed to go 35 yards. The only mistake was throwing low on 1st down. They needed to get a 1st down or TD to guarantee things. Throwing an easy completion on 1st down was absolutely the right call for any team built on offense. Waiting until 3rd down to throw would have been a more difficult throw.

Mahomes has a punchable face...But you'd rather seen another Patriots Super Bowl? Hard pass there...go Chiefs
