    Assumption:
Durant goes to Clippers and Boogie goes to Lakers
GS and Houston have the same success on free agent market and buyout market.
Speculation shows that Rivers want 2 years 20 million contract. He's gone.
It's clearly too early. Many are starting to think .......

    2019-20 season
GS team payroll $121 million including
    Klay Thompson 32.6 million
    Looney: projected 6 Million
    Livingston 2 million (guaranteed)
First round pick (Ty Jerome? University of Virginia)
    McKinnie (team exercises option)

    Houston team payroll $127 million
House: projected 3 million (non-bird, use partial MLE)
    Green: projected 2 million
    https://www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/HOU.html

    Starters
    GS: 3 stars, Mckinnie, Looney,
Houston: Harden, Paul, Gordon, Tucker, Capela
    Slightly advantage: Houston
Average age: GS 28, Houston 31

    Bench:
    GS: Iguodala, Jones
    Rockets: House, Green
    Slightly advantage: Houston

    Coaches
    Advantage GS
Kerr has bad habit to rest starters and has minutes restriction on key players in the regular season.

    Who are a better team?
What is the chance to win the West?
Do you think Morey has to make trade to win the West?

II think GS would have lost the series if Durant did not play any game. Sometimes it is just a bad game (game 6).
    I still don't believe it.

DeMarcus might be back. Even if he's not...
    Warriors still better
Warriors still the own the Rockets
1st round, 2nd round, Conference Finals, NBA Finals, at the park, at rec center, doesn't matter!

@ElGee35: If you include 2016, the Golden State Warriors are 116-19 in the last 4 years when Steph Curry plays and Kevin Durant sits.

If you're thinking "that's because of the 73-win season," their win percentage since 2017 is actually slightly higher (34-4). per https://t.co/ttAroRVBfD

    It was very close.
6 games beat by 10 points.
None of the games over 6 points, just need to hit 2 more shots from the three.

Next year Rockets get blown out in at least two games. Every year brings a different vibe.

funny thing is that Morey can sign Shumpert one year deal 23 million and trade him/1 First for Kevin Love. Love can hit a few more 3s than Shumpert.

if the warriors loose Durant they may be more interested in keeping boogie on a larger contract.

Iggy may also retire this summer.

we can't assume we have the same luck in the FA market as the warriors. first because we should have the ability to spend more on FAs since they're operating over the LT and we're not. second because they may choose to spend while the rockets may not. so it can go either way, but it probably won't be even. and depending on how that goes can determine who is better next year.
