You can always tell when a show doesn't know where its going.
Didn't think that trailer was good at all, personally. Netflix has a strong track record for original stuff, though, so I'll wait and see what the reviews look like.
That looks amazing for a series. I don't know what some of you are smoking nowadays, but that down. Good casting too.

Looking forward to this. Was in need of a new Netflix fix (we have been watching British crime dramas like Broadchurch, Happy Valley, Luther... started up Marcella) and just finished Bloodline so this will be a fun break. btw, just saw the Netflix price increase... but it is the one entertainment service we really use and enjoy, so was OK with the increase.
Looking forward to this as well, just finished up Crazy Ex Girlfriend with the wife, so this will be a nice change of pace. I saw that about the increase, it's a few bucks and I'm in the same boat as you. We watch so much stuff on there it's really worthwhile....
Watching the first episode. Love the opening theme...gives me blade runner vibes. Show itself seems well done. Will binge
I was waiting on one of the kids to scream . . I DUDDICH!!! Reminds me of the kids in DreamCatcher With a Mix of ET Will be checking it out. Rocket River
Just finished it. Loved it from start to finish! Did Cliff Martinez do the soundtrack/score by any chance? Had a feel of Solaris to it with a touch of Drive and The Knick to it. Anyway, well acted, well written and it does feel like it's set in that time and not just people running around dressed up like a 80s dress up party. Great throwback that brought back a lot of memories. You can see quite a lot of ET inspired scenes with the bike chase and dressing up the girl in a wig. El used a lot of hand gestures like ET's pointing. My one problem is the CGI of the monster was a bit amateur in several scenes in the final episode.
