this looks good, but I'm guessing Netflix yanks it for being offensive

Wow, I love Norm but this seems like it has a laser-like focus on a certain age group, (ahem @Deckard 's), and that's why I worry it won't last.

But I'd definitely watch and give it a go.

His podcast had a camera. In fact it wasn't really a podcast. You can find all of the Norm Macdonald Live episodes if you scroll down a ways here. The new show will be basically the same thing but only 30 minutes long.

Norm is the man. Pissed they cancelled his appearance on Fallon tonight.

Frank Stallone is doing anything and everything to get Norm cancelled.

    Looks funny.

Norm is that guy in Hollywood that everyone likes so he gets a shot at a show every 10 years or so, but it never translates into good business so it gets canceled. I hope this reverses the trend. Lord knows you don't have to do much on Netflix to get a second season.

Good lord, Buck. That clip had me laughing out loud so hard that my significant other quit watching Catch and Release for the tenth time in the living room (has a crush on Timothy Olyphant, who has a very passionate scene or two with the beautiful Ms. Garner) to see just what I was laughing at. Norm is often more than a bit crude and constantly on the edge of going off the rails, but I think he's freakin' hilarious.

man that was brutal towards the end..I wonder what Carrot Top thinks of Norm after that beatdown. Funny stuff.

lol and there you have the reason he was removed from Weekend Update - Constantly making jokes about the NBC Presidents best friend.

Damn, you kind of called it. He just got a Tonight Show appearance cancelled by speaking out, in essence, for forgiveness and giving people a 2nd chance. Dayum. (not to take this out of hangout.) Hopefully Netflix really gives him a chance.

they bought his episodes when they were on youtube. they'll be reediting them and releasing them like they do with other shows under their brand like black mirror.

would be pretty dumb to yank a show they bought.

Best line was about the Japanese team playing against 100 schoolchildren: "You know, they should do this in the NBA and the little bastards have to guess who their dad is."

This show scares and excites me at the same time. I love Norm because he unapologetically pushes the envelope, however you know there will be some hypersensitive PC Police twitter shitstorms when it is released... and I am not sure if Netflix is willing to stand up for him or not.

So this could either be a huge success for free speech or it could end up as yet another example of a giant corporation bowing to ignorant and illogical "offensive content' complaints.

You have to be incredibly tone deaf right before a show comes out to say what he did about the MeToo movement characters and then follow it up in an apology making fun of people with down syndrome...

... unless it was calculated because you have a show coming out...
