New National Geographic Article On Extreme Free-Climbing in Yosemite Much more at the link and a series of INSANE pictures. No safety gear at all. Holy ****.
Fake. How is this any more dangerous then the guy that eats glass, nails and bolts? Sooner or later, its over.
re: fake. I understand with the advent of millions of photoshop users why people will shout "fake" at their first chance. But did you bring the photo into photoshop and decided it was fake? re: dangers. I can eat a piece of glass, a nail, a bolt and probably will feel some kind of side affect. The side affect of me loosing my grip on a side of a mountain is death. So, yep, there is a difference. And to take it one step further, life is over, sooner or later too. Great photo though!

That's ok but this guy Rocks.. Nobody remembers this video? <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8e0yXMa708Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> He eventually died.. "well not in this video"
So let me get this straight.....you're accusing National Geographic, a publication that has been at the forefront of basically every story dealing with humanity, science, and culture for decades upon decades of coming out with a fake picture and a fake story? A story that has probably been corroborated by hundreds of people around the world....a story that actually has REAL pictures to back it up. Yet, when some 15 year-olds decide to post a video of a styrofoam cup attached to a string, and claim that it's a UFO, THAT makes you pause and think, "Hmmm....this is CONCRETE evidence that aliens exist...." ??? I think it's safe to say that you've officially jumped the shark, ToyCen.
Tony, I huh, I just had this brainstorm for us. Can you guess what it is? TONY no GEORGE bowling! what do you see bowling? bowling's insane! bowling is crazy time TONY bowling? I don't think so George you get no rush from bowling GEORGE rush? you want a rush? drop a bowl on your toe my friend, talk about a rush, you'd be throbbing, you'd see visions TONY no no no no, I'm thinking.. rock-climbing GEORGE all right! rock-climbing! J..just the 2 of us? alright! hey I'll make some sandwiches, what what do you like? tuna? peanut butter? TONY what.. whatever GEORGE alright alright, I gotta buy some bread
I agree with Toycen. it is fake because everyone knows the only way you can climb Half Dome is with anti-gravity technology reversed engineered from crashed alien spaceships.

I love that he wears a helmet while doing that, because safety is incredibly important when you're speed climbing thousands of feet up a mountain with no ropes.
