Robert Mueller, former Director of the FBI under 3 Presidents, sent Attorney General Barr a letter objecting to Barr’s 4 page summary of Special Counsel Mueller’s report of the results of a 2 year investigation. Mueller asked Barr to release the introductions and executive summaries of his report. Barr did not and still has not done so. Mueller says in his letter to Barr that Barr’s 4 page summary, “Failed to capture the context, nature, and substance” of his report. That Barr’s initial letter is a mischaracterization that may have created, “public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation.” That Barr’s characterization “threatens to undermine public confidence in the investigation.”

There is much more, but initial reporting of Mueller’s letter to A.G. Barr is utterly damning of the Attorney General, who has clearly led a coverup of the findings of the Mueller Report. Director Mueller, using “polite” terms, basically tells Barr that he lied to Congress and the American public. It amounts to Obstruction of Congress, and A.G. Barr deserves to be impeached, in my opinion. Barr willfully misled the American people. He may have committed perjury before Congress. Barr should resign. If he does not, he should be impeached. In my opinion.

Look for more reporting later tonight and tomorrow on Mueller’s letter to Attorney General Barr.

Not in the least surprised. Combined with their purported refusal to testify, what other unretarded (not banned :D) conclusion can you get?

    a. He did not read the report
    b. He lied intentionally to distort the conclusion

    lock him up !

Put Barr behind bars for his misleading 4-page lie.

The American Bar Association needs to disbar him

oh look apparently, buried in the story after the sensationalist headline, Mueller reportedly didn't even feel Barr's summary was inaccurate but that the "media coverage" LOL

    Here it is:

“After the Attorney General received Special Counsel Mueller’s letter, he called him to discuss it,” a Justice Department spokeswoman said Tuesday evening. “In a cordial and professional conversation, the Special Counsel emphasized that nothing in the Attorney General’s March 24 letter was inaccurate or misleading. But, he expressed frustration over the lack of context and the resulting media coverage regarding the Special Counsel’s obstruction analysis. They then discussed whether additional context from the report would be helpful and could be quickly released."

So this is just more lies and 'Fake news' by the Democrat left media. Shocker.

From the article, "In a cordial and professional conversation, the Special Counsel emphasized that nothing in the Attorney General’s March 24 letter was inaccurate or misleading."

The Mueller report has been made public now. People can read for themselves how the Collusion fantasy died. The left lied for two years.

    GOOD DAY

    NO COLLUSION
    NO OBSTRUCTION

The liberals got played like gullible fools.

You must enjoy your clown show. You and others will attempt the same dismissal of this breaking news that you have pumped out whenever there has been damning reportage regarding your hero, those surrounding him, and now Barr. The truth is coming out, and that is not going to be stopped. This is America, not trump’s private fiefdom, and the 4th Estate is doing it’s job, still protected by the Constitution, despite trump’s disdain for the document.

“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions. There is **now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation**. This threatens to **undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence** in the outcome of the investigations.”

Hmmm. It seems here that he explicitly is reffering to the summary?

Again, that is Barr camp's explanation, which, like the 4 letter page, more "likely failed to capture ‘context, nature, and substance" of the call.

Barr’s four-page letter on the investigation “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s work, according to a copy of the letter.

The report is now public. Have you read it? Clearly not. Yet you still propagate conspiracy theories about its contents! What unbelievable contempt you have for intellectualism!

The four pager has been rendered moot by the release of the full report. Besides, Mueller said nothing was inaccurate or misleading in the 4-page summary. Once again your hopes and dreams of Russian collusion are dashed. You got played. Once again.

    GOOD DAY

Mueller was expressing his desire that Barr release certain elements of his report to the public - as disussed in the article if you feel like reading it for yourself - which AG Barr has now done.

So Barr selectively chose the flattering parts to be lock step with Trump's narrative when he's supposed to be an independent AG.

Exactly. No one claimed he fabricated information. The claim has always been he selectively chose sentences in the report.

Independent AG? What are you talking about? You lack knowledge. The AG is an appointee of the President and over the years has always been a staunch supporter of the President. Do you know who JFK's attorney general was? HIS BROTHER. Do you know who Barack Obama's Attorney General was? The man who gave himself the nickname "Obama's wingman". Then it was Loretta Lynch who openly ran cover for the many Obama and Clinton misdeeds.

You should learn history, like I have. That's why I'm the best of the best.

The relationship between the AG and the President involves policy and policy guidelines, not protecting the President in an investigation over the president.

Mueller specifically stated that he did not think Barr's report was inaccurate. Mueller wanted Barr to publish certain legally publishable parts of his report in order to provide some additional context, which Barr later did.

Mueller never recommended releasing any parts of his report that were illegal to release. And everything in the report that was legal to release, has now been released.
