If it's not WORSE than Requirem and not PG-13, like AVP. It'll be passable. But, I kept telling people to stop complaining about Predator 2 and Predators, because they were decent flicks. But, if the critical and fan response was not good enough, they were going to be doing a Disney-fied Predator, anyway.
Getting Requiem vibes from this trailer. Here's a simple formula for making a good Predators movie. You're welcome Hollywood. 1. Predators 2. Group of military badasses 3. Explosives and Assault weapons 4. Desolate location 5. No civilians, kids, or teenagers 6. No Olivia Munn. She's hot AF, but can't act for ****.
If the premise of the film is a kid got a predator helmet and ship remote control via a UPS package sent by someone and then caused a predator ship to activate and crash land on Earth because said kid was playing with the items, then that is the ultimate fail. I would hope they put that bit in there as a teaser joke?
I'm surprised they haven't done a Predator movie in the Middle East, yet. For Alien vs. Predator, they could've done so much more with that, especially by have more Predators, liked they did in the "Predators' movie. Roughly about 3-8 Predators vs. a whole bunch of Xenomorphs, some unusual Xenomorphs, and one Queen. How could you possibly go wrong with a movie, like that?
Looks like the sort of grunt-burger they drop in Houston Hurricane season (mid-August to mid-September) after the blockbusters are done but before the Oscar contenders see the light of day. As I check my phone, seems the release date is September 2018. YEP.
No, this is the perfect script. -The kid's mom ordered him some action figures off Amazon and somehow UPS switched the packages and delivered the box to him instead of Area 51, next trailer will throw in some government officials opening a box of GI Joes... Then the chaos starts - another flop straight to Netflix. They might as well throw in the Aliens too, and then lower the rating to PG to truly finish this series off in preparation for Disney taking over.
Am I the only one that thought Requiem was much better than the original AVP? I hated the Predalien, but everything else I thought was better, and Sanaa Lathan's character as well as the archaeologist in AVP were beyond awful.
It's hard to debate, I think AVP:Requirem was not a decent flick, but it did make up for some elements missing from AVP. I was kinda shocked when I saw AVP was PG-13, but I notice alot of other big franchises whose initial films were rated R. Though in 2000s, they was this effort to make alot of sequels fit into the PG-13 category in effort to get more box-office dollars. Which we know is not always true.
I'll watch it at home unless there are some killer reviews. Now would be the perfect time to do a true sequel with Arnold.
Was anyone even asking for another Predator movie? I just watched the trailer that was posted on here, and this looks like it’s gonna be straight up trash.
Saw the trailer in the movie theaters and honestly thought at the beginning of the trailer that it was going to be some toy that was adapted to film...but to my surprise it was a mother****ing Predator trailer??
