The most polarizing ex-Rocket might be more interesting with Lin and McGrady topping the list but I'm not ready for that back and forth. Who on the roster is the most polarizing? I've heard debates about just about every player on the roster from James Harden to KJ McDaniels. One poster says he wants to trade them away, the next thinks they are the cornerstone of the franchise. I'm including Sergio Llull since his NBA rights are technically owned by the Rockets. I'm not including Terrence Jones as most posters seem to think he should be gone. Even though some take it to an unrealistic level, most like Capela and want to keep him. So, which of these is the most polarizing:

    Josh Smith
    Donatas Motiejunas
    Dwight Howard
    James Harden
    Patrick Beverly
    Sergio Llull
    Jason Terry
    KJ McDaniels
    Nick Johnson
    Corey Brewer

If you include the opinions of the morons, the answer is Harden. Realistically, it's probably Josh Smith.

You left off Kevin McHale. He is clearly the most polarizing. And it's because he is the most polarizing. A guy who gets along great with guys like Josh smith and gets the most out of them and then squables with pgs like Lowry and Canaan. A guy who who doesn't develop rookies and took forever to utilize DMO properly and yet he quickly integrates prig , brewer and smith. McHale is the most polarizing Rocket in my book.

Why is Terrance Jones not on the list?

It seems like most on here don't like Terrence Jones. DMo on the other hand. According to some posters, he is the only reason why the Rockets are not sweeping the Cavs right now. To others, he is too soft, doesn't rebound well, and his position is one of the most needed for an upgrade. Which is it?

Currently yes. I hope he will work hard in the off season to become a better player.

It's gotta be Lin 2.0, Terrence Jones.

I'm tired of all the Nick Johsnon threads.

Harden is probably the only one where people are split on his playoff performance.

Some people are negative about it, some are positive. Some are in the middle. "Polarizing" means strong opinions on both ends of the spectrum, but Harden's performance seems to have the most varied opinions.

With every other player, most people seem to agree with each other regarding their play.

Don't understand why you don't put TJones on the list. Weird.

I'd just lock this and start another one.

He probably didn't want Jones to win. He's the obvious pick.

    Here's why:
"... I'm not including Terrence Jones as most posters seem to think he should be gone..."

    but maybe I was wrong.

Rookie. I'm pretty sure it existed before. So did clutchcity.com and clutchcity.net. Clutch had some trouble with site names and got a few taken from him or maybe he sold them, but the name of this site has changed more than once.

Doesn't that indicate that maybe he might figure prominently??

He was a guy who, in the regular season, seemed to take a big step forward, looked like 'the answer' at PF. But then vanished in the playoffs almost completely....

Can't vote in poll without the correct answer to the question being included!!

Went for Smith. Love him when he's great, but man he can be so frustrating. He's the NO,NO,NO,NO - YES man!!!!

But a shout out to Howard. Sick of hearing people saying how soft he is, his injuries, he's old - but then he comes out and reminds everyone in the finals of just how good he is.
