For a weak economy when an economy has shrinking, the economic morphine/stimulus used to revive it is easy $ policy; ergo the QE programs to lift the US economy out of the GWB-induced economic depression for a strong economy on the slip side, when an economy is growing for 7 consecutive year, w over 77-consecutive mo job growth, plus the tax cut, the spectre of inflation looms large. that's when Fed steps in to tighen the money supply by raising the interest rate during the presidential campaign, Traitor Trump had crucified the then-Fed Chairm, Janet Yellen, for continuing to keep interest rate low to counter China's moves (at a time when the US economy was stablilizing). the Traitor accused Yellen of politicizing Fed to make Obama look good the whole tariffs thing was ill-conceived, all half-assed. i fear that the Traitor will use his lackey in Congress to bully the Fed, like how they bully the FBI, to lower the interest rate. the trade war against China will evolve into a tit-for-tac between the 2 central banks.
At this point I find the president's lies less troubling than the fact his base accepts everything he says. The president has been chipping away at the very idea of objective truth and it's working.

Least surprising fight he was always going to pick. I hope the media doesn’t fall for it like they did with GWB and WMD’s, and I hope legislation is passed unanimously this week tightening the need to get congressional approval for any military action against Iran. They can always cite our allies in agreement with Iran regarding the nuclear deal, and a conflict of interest to our alliances. The most unsurprising thing Trump will do is create a new war to try and drum up wartime patriotism so his approval numbers go up. Lord.
As someone that has defended many of Donald Trumps policies, I think I have a responsibility to call this tweet what it is. Absolutely stupid on every level. Although I have zero concern about defeating Iran in a war, that tweet puts a lot of people in additional risk. That was just a ridiculous lack of judgement on Trumps part.
