He's not wrong. LBJ may be the GOAT. I'd put Hakeem as my starting center every time, but he's not the GOAT.

Yeah Hakeem won a two Championships without another all-star (first year) and jumping ship to another team.

LeBron is being anointed but at the end of the day he's not a winner but a Championship chaser. Win one in LA
and i'll be impressed. He's a today's superstar because he has gaudy points and stats but isn't a closer.

He had to leave to join two all stars to get his first two rings and still lost to Dirk Nowitzki's mavericks.

Then left to join two all Stars back at Cleveland.

I'm not saying Hakeem is a better player but he was a winner

Lebron is a great player, and he would be successful in any era. However, I doubt if he would have had the impact that he has made, if he played in the 80's-90's. Hakeem's defensive ability even frightened Jordan at times. Lebron is a good play maker, but he is no Jordan as a scorer either. Hakeem continues to be underrated. His clutch ability on both ends of the floor, along with his passing from the floor was incredible. He used to raise his game to unbelievable heights in the playoffs.

lol what a clickbait thread title but I'm not surprised coming from Carl.

Is he better than Olajuwon? From a career perspective, I say yes. From a pick-a-period-of-dominance perspective, I'd say it's a toss up. I would put Hakeems mid 90s dominance from regular season to holding up the Larry O'Brien against anyone.

Is he the GOAT? I'd say he's definitely up there in rarified air.

I am OK putting Lebron as 2, or even 1.5.

There's nothing bad about being #2 out of 4,391,391,193,391 NBA players. But not everyone can be #1 just because they're the greatest of their generation.

That's cause Morey wants to lay the groundwork for LeBron to Houston in 2022. I see him working.

Morey like stats. Lebron stats both traditional and advanced are insane. He has a chance to finish 40k-10k-10k. Think how ridiculous that is. He has a good chance of being top 5 in points, rebounds, and assists in the playoffs. He is already tops in points and top 3 in assists.

    I guess Morey is Bronsexual.

Statistically, there is little doubt Lebron is the best to ever play. Cleveland will probably not even make the playoffs in the East this year. Cleveland with Kyrie was bad enough to get the #1 pick in the draft 2 years in a row, before Lebron came back and they went to the finals.
