Carmelo vs Beasley Pretty similar type of scorers. FYI: 2nd half of the video ended up just being all Beasley highlights its because Carmelo did not score since.
I'm pretty sure Beasley was traded away for a 2nd round pick by Pat Riley to clear cap space to sign Lebron and Bosh. I don't think they played together with Beas. Oh he played with them on Beas 2nd stunt in Miami. My bad
Beasley doesn't shoot 3's. That's the difference between him and Melo. Beasley made 0.7 per 36 Anthony made 2.4 per 36 Can't have someone who doesn't take 3's playing at a non center position for us (especially one who isn't a defensive player). For example, Moute, who took the least amount of 3's out of our rotation wings last season, made 1.5 per 36. Over double what Beasley made.
That was kind of our strategy or at least CF's assumption when Durant was deciding where to go from OKC. Maybe it will work out better for LA.
Beasley can score fast. But, the younger guys won't like him, because he will never pass the ball to them. Nor can he defend much. Nevertheless, he can be useful in spurts.
Nice. That was on the 2nd night of a B2B where OKC battled Philly in Double OT, Melo had 24 and 7 on 11/17 in an OKC win. Beasley and the Knicks took advantage of a worn out Thunder team. Nice try tho.
