Just take a bunch of money and let it be run by the masses like Green Bay. Or at least someone who values competition and success over friendships...

It is honestly ridiculous that someone can run a team this badly. When the people who make decisions for this team are protected from any repercussions, there will never be an opportunity to get better. It needs to start from the top down.

    For you Nimo.

    Oh come on now!

McNair runs a clean WASP organization complete with a Dr. Pepper social and mandatory gender specific bathrooms.

McNair keeps Reliant very clean and his coaches and players are generally decent God fearing folks that understand that Jesus is a Republican.

Winning isn't that important to Mr. McNair, so why should it be to you? After all, he will gladly remind you that it is HIS team.

Why would Bob sell it? He makes an enormous amount of money, has met wonderful family friends like Rick Smith and Clay Walker while running the team. Besides, it isn't like the fans expect much from him.

Also it gives his mentally damaged fat son a career, and no one in River Oaks will see him as a free loader.

Houston has been very very good to Mr. McNair, he can profit off of ENRON, do sketchy business dealings and run a mediocre sports franchise and he has $4,000,000,000 and an NFL franchise to show for it.

Maybe Dave Ragone can make a comeback, or McNair can throw money at the next mediocre QB from South Carolina.

Either sell the team - or - cease contributing to any personnel decisions, player or management.

Jerry's son saved Jerry from himself, but can Cal? The buddy-buddy with Rick is a dim start..

Yeah.....they'd be much better off with someone like the Colts owner....

Threads like this only serve to prove that the Texans currently are the team the fanbase truly deserves.

The sooner we can rid ourselves of the 3 stooges + 1, better off we'll be.

How silly. Fans love to complain about owners. He's not selling, so why even worry about it.

His blind loyalty to Rick Smith makes me sick. I am sure McNair is a nice man, and he is a respected NFL owner around the league, but for the life of me I can't understand how everyone else got fired and Rick Smith is still here.

Texans are better off taking a chance to rid themselves from mediocrity
Your DH stance is a disgrace to the entire Houston fanbase.

Yeah....but the problem is that a lot of people truly believe it. As a joke it's cool, but when you tell a sarcastic joke and everyone else thinks that it's legitimately serious and brilliant.....well, you have what we have here.

Would you take a Cleveland situation? Texans in absolute last place with no end in sight. But you were killing it in basketball and baseball? Or playoff-bound but probably not contenders in all 3?

He will not sell this money maker. It now is a family tradition. Cal will soon take over.Mcnair can run the Texans like a country club and there is nothing anyone can do. He has a waiting line of people wanting to get season tickets. So what i do is just watch the games on tv and go to places like this and b**** about it.
