Shooting 2/22 like almost every other game. Shooting way too many threes when he isn’t scoring anymore. Idk what to say anymore. Like he hasn’t been good since December. Like I haven’t seen vintage harden in a LONG time. If we wanna win a chip we need that guy. I don’t know if this double team thing got into his head. But harden talking a whole lot now and not backing it up on the court. I want the old harden back.

just remember the more Harden talks, the more mind games he plays with himself and plays worse as a result

40% from the floor and 31% from deep since the New Year.

    Not great.

James needs a big center to help him get involved in his opponent's paint area defense, so that he can maximize the threat of breakthrough, when he can directly end, throw, feed the center or force the opponent to foul him.

When James's break opens, the opponent will relax his shooting defense for fear of his break, and then his three-point will open

Let’s just all finally admit to ourselves that Harden is a mentally weak player and wash our hands of him. It’s almost criminal to give up on a player that can be as offensively gifted as he is but let’s be real w ourselves - he gives up first.

For whatever reason he just can’t make himself care enough to show up when we need him most. To think that any player would opt to slow down and wait for the defender to foul him when he has a wide open fast break in front of him tells us everything we need to know about his mentality.

And then you look at Russ who is all effort all the time, never stops, never slows down, pushes it all the time, moves without the ball. Literally everything Harden simply refuses to do.

I think he has physical limitations. He had asthma issues in high school. Maybe he just can't run and sprint for long periods of time hence why he walks so often in the court and can be slow. He's also like 230 lbs.

No james needs to bring his f'n nuts to the game and play more efficient basketball. James has had too many chances in too many different situations to show up big and he hasn't.

It's mostly mental and partially physical. He's not beating his man anymore and he's being double teamed which means he can't get into a rhythm. My honest opinion? He's body is breaking down from high usage AND mentally he's prob getting flashbacks from his OKC days being second fiddle. That has to **** with a man's physch at some level. Throw everything in a blender and you get what you see. The dude's confidence is shot and he's trying to force everything. It's sad to witness because his offensive arsenal is vast and he looks defeated.

I disagree brother it’s time to start really looking at what Harden is and isn’t doing, hes not been the most important member of this team for months and he Is playing very average basketball at best the last 9 weeks ... I seriously am beginning to feel he has peaked and is declining ... maybe there is a nagging injury but I don’t buy that because he’s just looked pretty easily defensible and flat and disengaged not hurt... slumps are one thing but this has lasted for the better part of a 1/3 of a season and he wasnt that sharp to begin the season either. He had a scorching 5/6 weeks period in Nov/Dec then the doubles started and he’s been a shell of himself most games since

I'll ride him harden until the end. It all starts with him. He has to find his rhythm for this to work. Packing the paint won't work if he goes ballistic like he is capable. He also inspires so much confidence when he is rolling.

Harden's shooting struggles started in January when Capela was still a rotational player.

Capela played all January until the 29th. Harden shot .355% FG% and .270% 3PT in January.

Harden actually shot .462% FG% and .373% 3PT in February with no Capela.

His 3 point shot is just awful right now and the main reason he's been so bad lately.
