Are the Kellerman takes just a running meme here or something because the boards always complain about mainstream media's bias against Houston.

Of course. nobody likes the Rockets so I expected this. I have never seen anything like this in the NBA. There is nothing more definite in sports than a made basket. to not review a made basket is the epitome of incompetence.

 

He's beloved here and is an honorary 99er.

 

Rockets should stop crying. this is non story. we hate the rockets. Westbrook should stop shooting.

 

I just hope the Rockets players aren't like the fans and understand that it was their own fault for blowing a 20 or lead and that they need to fix some glaring holes.and not scapegoat the refs.

We were up by 22 and tried to coast down victory lane while SA put
their foot on the gas. Result? A BIG FAT "L"

The Miami game was a wake up call that woke up our defense.
Hopefully this will also help us find a killer instinct

 

Don't blow 22 point leads. I can assure you, if you don't blow 22 point leads, a missed 2 point call will not matter.

 

kellerman is the ultimate media w****. but i can actually buy his crying rant that the subsequent 7min + 2 OT's should not just be expunged from the record. that's why i think the fairest resolution would be to have both teams simply play a 3rd OT. they "won" by 2, while our 2pts weren't counted. game should be tied up w/ 5min left to be resumed at some point this season

 

Can you imagine if they had happened to one of the Los Angeles teams???

 

Rockets should not have blown the lead.
Refs should not have missed that basket.

Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

Thing is blown leads happen. They will continue to happen in sports.

Of course this being a regular season game in the beginning of december it's not a big deal to some. If this was a game with clear seeding implications or a playoff game or gasps, game 7 of a finals the same folks who dont care would be livid.

It's like the rockets are penalized in the minds of some because they were up big in the third quarter. Like if the game had instead been close the entire game and the refs missed that then they'd have more of a point?


It was a made basket. Made baskets in the nba greatly affect outcomes. Especially in freaking double overtime games.

Oh and Rockets need to hold leads. But do something about that made basket NBA.

 

The league does not have a habit of overturning controversial calls or non-calls, so why should we expect anything different. It's time to move on and fix our glaring mistakes. Last night's performance was great until someone decided to let Lonnie Walker go off.

 

The Rockets didn’t completely blow a 22 point lead, they scored 2 more points than the Spurs in regulation.

They need to put the ref accountable for blown calls and missed calls. It’s ridiculous how much they get away with murder.
I know you aren’t going to get every call, but the guys in stripes are able to control and dictate the game.

 

Don’t you guys find it weird how last year there was a long period of ken mauer not reffing our games? Till the second round.

 

Rockets worked hard to earn that loss. I'm ok with it staying as is.

 

These are the same dudes that cry about Harden and his FTs...

Also, Lebron whined about FTs and these dudes just agreed with him.

It's never whining when their favorite teams do it, it's justice then.
