Well, he basically was with all the hype....and crazy expectations considering what he did in NE last year.

Only solace is that Watson looked bad his first game last year too, hopefully it was just rust and going up against the best HC to probably ever coach the game.

I imagine he'll look a lot better against the Titans, only time will tell. I still have complete faith in the guy, with how bad the game was yesterday, we still had a shot, he did start to pick it up at the end there.

    Disagree

Biggest disappointment of Week 1 is Bill O'Brien is still our head coach

Saw plenty of rust on both sides of the ball... that did get better in the second half.

Would have been great to pull it out, but they weren't as good as the Patriots or as well prepared.... if you're going to have a rust game or an adjustment game, no better time than week one.

If they're still looking this helter-skelter vs Tennessee, then they're going to be in for a huge uphill battle.

    I would have to disagree...

Watson was disappointing, but BOB was way worse.

Terrible clock management again, terrible play calling, terrible game preparation.

Not having Fuller or Keke did hurt but we will bounce back next week vs titans.

    They better.

Titans will be without Walker (out for year), and possibly without Lewan and Mariota.

Vrabel already on the hot seat after one week... he looks a little overmatched as a first time HC for a team expecting to build on their 2nd round playoff exit.

As long as he's healthy... he already showed improvement in the second half, and its pretty safe to say they're not going to face a defense that schemes as much as Belichick (specifically against Watson/Hopkins... was daring any other receiver or RB to beat them).
