The first 2-3 episodes of the season start out slow, but it kicks off from there. Not the ending i was expecting at all.
What a great season, way better than the first one. Bushmasta was so much better than Diamondback and his stupid helmet. Funny what a good villain does for the series. Only gripe was that the ending makes for a predictable season 3.
I like how they made him a sympathetic villain...u could see where he was coming from and why he had issues
I really liked Mariah in S2...I feel like they fleshed out her character well she loses her mind towards the end
yeah, but once Bushmaster gets to her and she goes into Idgaf anymore mode, I started to like her character...with the stuff that happened to her when she was young and how messed up her family was it’s no wonder she’s the way that she is
It is interesting to me Also . . I love how she keeps f*cking up pop references Her attempting to sound young adds an element to her that I like I like Shades more this year. . . .. Rocket River
I'm about halfway through the 2nd season and it's alright but the villain fighting like Eddy from Tekken and talking like Jar Jar Binks kind of takes me out of it. Thus far I like it a lot more than season 1.
Finally finished it. I thought the season was fine; more consistent than season 1. I liked Bushmaster as a villain. Mariah, by the end of the season was nutz, but she made me laugh; I ended up liking her character. I believed Mariah's sexual chemistry with Luke Cage more than Shades and I don't think she was supposed to be sexually attracted to Luke Cage. The fight choreography is trash.
Started out a little slow, but once it got started it was such a dope season. I think that was better than the first. Bushmaster is my **** (I want to try that rum too). Also, this show has the best music -- period. That was the point. It was supposed to make you uneasy.
That's the point. They don't love each other, it's a professional relationship. Or at least Mariah doesn't love him, and Shades -- he's complicated.
this is the only reason I sat through the first season. Ithe hip hop references are gold. Paraphrasing: "Cockroach: "Like Mobb Deep says survival of the fittest." Luke: "Mannn, that's not Mob Deep that's Darwin." I lol'd for a minute.
Canceled after season 2 by Netfix. Good riddance. They did not portray Luke Cage correctly and Mike Colter was not the right actor. It makes sense that they canceled Luke Cage and Iron Fist, neither character is strong enough to carry their own seasons.....and honestly if you watch the Daredevel series' and then flip over to those it makes it seem like the Godfather movies are in the same universe as 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag and Corky Romano.
This has to with Disney getting Marvel Superhero shows to the New streaming service. I will not be surprised when Luke Cage ends up on that.
Kevin Feige controls the new Disney Streaming service and has always been at odds with Jeph Loeb who controls the TV stuff. They already have Loki with Hiddleston and Olsen with Scarlet WItch lined up to go. I don't think he's going to dilute the brand by picking up sloppy second C-list actors like Colter and whatshisblandface.
