That's why they are Kings... Once it was pretty clear Suns would select Ayton as their pick, I started to follow Kings a bit. Their fans were beyond ecstatic about Doncic. And when he wasn't selected...it was pretty brutal in the comment section. Let's say Divac isn't the most adored guy right now in Sac lol.
Its pretty ridiculous how the league bends over backwards for Boston. Philly gives up a guaranteed great pick for...the right to take Markelle Fultz? Seriously?
Doncic was a no brainer PHX was the onky one justified for passing on him because Ayton is a hometown kid and they need a center to be the face of the franchise. Hawks got a guy from GSW as their GM, this kind of hiring never pans out just because you are on Kerr's team doesn't mean you are the ones making the decisions if you were that guy the org would never let you go. That dude got Trae Young as their unathletic Steph, Huerter as his budget Klay and Spellman fir a trash level Draymond. It's such a big joke their GM passed on Luka for Trae freaking Young. I believe Divac passed on Luka intentionally because he has some sort of bias against Slovenians (idk what they are called). Makes no sense otherwise he is a Euro guy himself he knows how impressive a 19 yr old MVP is and he is playing Bagley out of position as an SF in their lineup when Luka is a natural SF. Cubes is probably nutting at home he has Dirk and Nash 2.0 on his team now.
Maybe Divac knows Kings are trash and did Luka a favor because they know each other and he wants the next big Euro kid to be succesful lol
Divac said Bagley was the only one who accepted the workout invitation. Maybe that's part of the reason!
I searched for them all over, but even our Slovenian "insiders" can't find them. All I have is a few videos of his private workouts (lifting etc.)

Doncic is basically white LeBron. He may not end up as great as LeBron because of athletics but he still has HOF potential. Kid has so much flair@basketball. Nash didn't need athletes body to flourish in NBA. Doncic is way way bigger, stronger and in fastbreak he will be force still
