I think the sign of a great owner is similar to that of a great ref - one that you rarely notice.

Les may have had an allergy to the Luxury Tax, but he was a great owner overall. We could certainly have done a lot worse.

Even though I'm really not that unhappy about this move, I get why people are and he did a lot of great things for Houston, Clutch City Foundation and the Rockets. His unwillingness to tank has proven to be a great move and he should be considered one of the best in the business. He was innovative, made Toyota Centre great and made a great move in hiring Morey.

I'm still not too fond of his dealing with the lower bowl situation, Calvin among others, our jerseys - especially after the titles - his star chasing and the way he likes to put his face and name on everything, but he is and was a great owner. Many people love and respect him so I can do nothing but respect him too.

I hope our next owner is less evil looking and will be more of a public spokesperson or at least smile like a human being haha and of course understand when it's time to change jerseys and when not to, but other than that, great owner and will definitely be missed.

Also, love the way he respects the franchise's history and honors the individuals and teams.

So people need to stop CREDITING LES for CLUTCH CITY cause that was STEVE PATTERSON AND CHARLIE THOMAS
