Now that Ward will definitely go to the Spurs, who will we sign now for our last roster spot? ....

I wouldn't mind Ford or Braggs coming back.

why not look to add a PG? we can use our trade exception to bring in a guy like: watson, mcinnis, a.williams, hopefully b.barry.

Why bring in anybody just to do it. They aren't going to get minutes anyhow and they just cost 10 day money....

I agree. I think the Rox will make a trade for another PG. Barry would be nice,

Or the Rox could go with Leon Smith or Roy Tarpley who are tearing up the CBA. Then Mo would have someone to party with.

Why waste a trade exception on these scrubs..that would get only 13 minutes a game. Save the TE for the offseason!

Brent Barry may be worth getting via trade but not wasting the TE on him.

The knicks passed on Leon Smith. Roy Tarpley---what has he done since the 80s????

JVG doesn't go through the CBA pipeline.

Thank God, the Knicks might have gotten Elie instead of us!

In case you didn't notice. I was kidding with the Tarpley and Smith idea.

Yeah, I imagine we'll just sprinkle some 10-day contracts as needed throughout the season. No shame in that.

i heard this langhi guy recently got waived, maybe rockets should pick him up... :D

...let´s see how spoon performs, if he can´t get it done at the 4, rockets should look at another big man.

since francis is playing 40+ minutes a game, there´s absolutley no need to sign ward!

I'd like to get another PG, but wouldn't want to shake things up or use the exception to do so. We should wait to address significant changes or additions during the offseason. For the rest of this season, we just need a competent body.

Any half-decent PGs buried in some team's roster like Weatherspoon was? Maybe we could acquire them for a second-rounder. We could trade a couple second-rounders to get Bryce Drew from the Hornets. ;)

I'm down to re-sign Alton. I never liked how he punked UH to go to the pros way too early, but I have to say I've been impressed with his limited minutes on the court. He plays hard. He's got some skills that just need some coaching and time to help develop. I'm fine with Wilkes as the backup PG. You can slide Cat or JJ over to the point if need be during a game.

Acctually, that sounds like a really good reason to sign another point guard....

Perhaps you should spend less time bashing JVG, and more time studying your Rockets history.

The Rockets aquired Elie from the Portland Trail Blazers in 1995 in exchange for a second round draft pick.

Mengke Bateer is available. Maybe he can help motivate Yao?

I'm not comfortable having only 2 players on the roster over 6'10"
