Come to think of it, our most successful former-top-10-pick reclamation project has probably been Austin Rivers.
Nice out of the box thing. I wish there could be a really underrated center out there. It just doesn't seem that's possible. I would appreciate if you could come up with a future backup with potential. Nice to see you posting again, I have been reading them with interest.
Does the guy rebound? At all? Play defense? At all? I saw a couple of blocks and a couple of steals from @Clutch's highlights, and that's it. Are we supposed to be interested because he's morphed into a "3 point specialist?"
He has lost weight and is shooting better. It's possible he can shoot better than Clark. Defense/ size, length, rebounding, and quickness at the 5 spot remains a big problem for us. Hart is not up to NBA standard despite his G-League improvement. I doubt if Bennett can bring any of these attributes. I'm not opposed to his addition, because he can bring some needed spacing.
I know he won’t qualify as a reclamation project, but I honestly think EG would have withered away if he ended up anywhere but Houston.
Yeah, but we wouldn't need him to live up to #1. Can he live up to being a first round pick? Would be a win if he could. edit: Did I just side with Holic for the first time in the history of clutchfans? I think I did. But credit where credit is due; I'm intrigued.
I reckon we'll pick up Zhou Qi. We really need that defensive presence that can stop KD in the Playoffs. Clint will have to be put on the bench throughout that series.
Does it matter at this point? The last 2-3 guys get limited minutes during the season, and virtually none in the playoffs if there are no multiple injuries. Dead weight. Speaking of which, how much does he weigh now? Dun let him fool y'all because he was Top 3 Bust Alltime, he is the 15th on a team. He shouldn't even be close to an NBA team unless he at least averaged 18 pts on a Euro contender.
Perhaps we (Rockets) can trade Eric Gordon for one of (this summer): Nikola Milutinov (Olympiacos), Spurs 26th pick of 1st rd (2015) or Arturas Gudaitis (Milano), Cavs (rights), 2nd rd pick of 76ers (2015) or Anzejas Pasecniks /7’2” (Herbalife Gran Canaria), 76ers, 25th pick of 1st rd (2017) 7 footers tend to be harder to find. Take Care saleem. Bust them up, Rockets!!
