Jordan w/ the Lakers?!?! That would just be INSANE! No way it's going to happen. Old fogies along w/ Shaq and Kobe....

    Would that deteriorate the team?

If I'm not mistaking, he would only call Jordan if Kobe missed the entire year or missed a large portion of the season. That's not going to happen because Kobe is supposedly opting out of his contract so he can become a free agent after this season. That means he would want to play this year to keep his stock up because this sexual case has damaged his image somewhat.

Yeah, that would be great. As if the Lakers aren't already forced on us enough.

kobe could sit out the next 5 years. come back, and still be one of the top free agents.

I'm pumped. Now Jordan can destroy the Lakers chemistry like he did the Lakers!

Seriously, how is a 40 year old man signing with the Lakers going to stop the other teams in the West?

If Kobe isnt going to jail, Imagine the lineup on that squad.

    Gary Payton at point
    Kobe at the 2
MJ playing the small forward or 3 guard.
    Karla playing the power forward
    and Shaq at Center.

    Hell of a lineup

as long as he doesnt insist on dominating the ball like he did in Washington then he could make them better

does anyone really believe that if jordan signs with the Lakers that they would be unstoppable? come on the guy is 40 and not getting any younger. he was not a factor with Washington where he was supreme commander of the Wizards. The Lakers I think are gonna implode with Payton and Mailman on the team , add Jordan pleeeeeeeeeeze! this team looks GREAT on paper, but the real season has not start yet

if jordan plays as a role player, he could halp. he shoudn't get the bal to much but his experience is great for any team, and maybe he will keep the ego's of Bryant malone payton and shaq in control. but i do not think he wil do those things so i think it wil be a disaster for the lakers if he signs. so Jordan PLease sign with the lakers:D

dont forget Jordan is an huge egomaniac himself. I think he actually sees himself as the basketball god.
