He's a well above average offensive player for a 5, though. Not a good scorer, obviously, but his ball-handling and passing ability are critical to the Warriors offense when its at its best.

He seldom plays the 5 in the playoffs anymore.

I am not surprised by everything going on around Harden.

He has never shown that he would leave on his own. He was kicked out of OKC, to express it more directly.

He's always been that dude that stays too unless you want to trade him which is not happening.

As a Houston fan that is great, as a guy that follows the NBA you could say he is passive in his decisions.

Durant is a different animal, he dares to go to GSW, he dares to screw fans over. He is being selfish and puts his needs first above anything.

90% of NBA players and humans do that though. His actions are just being magnified, so nobody is giving him credit for those ships.

Durant is delusional if he thought that he would usurp Stephanie Curry as the chosen one. The Warriors had already won a title without Durant and there is little question that they could still have won another or two without him. Durant, more or less, was a mercenary for hire who was desperate to win a ring and knew it would never happen in OKC. So he sold his soul to the devil to get his ring. He should remember that every action comes with a consequence and his consequence for winning a ring in Golden State would be a lack of respect since he had to piggyback on a 73 win team to do so.

....but what about Thon Maker? Is his dominance not mentioned because it does not need to even be said?

I will ask him if I see him.

I saw him once at Splashtown. No joke. I wanted to approach him but he had a look on his face like "don't ****in talk to me" so I didn't. Plus, I didn't want to get out of the line I was in.

So I'll go back to Splashtown and walk around and report back.

So, what are we going to do with Durant when he catches the ball in the high post in the triple threat? Who's defending that?

We got away with Paul on Durant in last year's series. Don't believe we'll be able to do that very much this year without Warriors exploiting it.

I am confused. If "Draymond Green is everything you want in a basketball player on the offensive end and defensive end" then why is he not the best player ever?

A great example of why context is so important and why parsing little statements never works.

Kendrick Perkins...? What separates his opinion from all the others? Certainly not his offensive prowess as a player? The guy wouldn’t know offense if it slapped him in the face.
