Knicks could also send that top 3 pick to New Orleans in an Anthony Davis trade

If he goes to NY and wins a rung or two, he will be back in the conversation for one of the greatest players ever. He won’t get that staying in GS. Instead he will be talked about as one of the players on the greatest teams ever. There’s a big difference. I think he wants to be like Kobe and Jordan. He could make that happen in NY.

He’s staying, I am not buying this.

No he won't. He can win 3 rings on a stacked team in New York, and no one with a double digit IQ would put him in the same sentence as Kobe or Jordan.

I think you underestimate the East Coast media. He will be a God if he brings the Knicks 3 rings.

I can see this happen but i don't see him winning **** with the Knicks if he ends up there with Irving, they must get a third star and good enough role players.

You mean legacy media which is essentially on its way out as independent websites, bloggers, youtubers have a much larger influence? Idk if you have noticed but despite the massive praise and obsession that legacy sports media has for Lebron, public opinion about him is split, if not outright negative.

    His legacy is marred.

He would have to win more than 2 rings elsewhere just to undo the damage he has done to his reputation with his cowardly move to Warriors.

Why not? They don’t win them without him being the best player on the court.

I don’t see it happening either. It’s definitely not likely. But I do want to see him go to the East and try! That GS superfriends team needs to disband.

Man I miss 90’s basketball. Most teams had 2 stars and they hated each other. They battled it out. Sure there were some stars that joined up late in their careers but not in their primes. This super team stuff sucks.

The ratings for the nba playoffs are down. I think people are sick and tired of GS winning. Why watch when you already suspect whose going to win?

It would only take one. The NY media was ready to put Ewing next to Russell if he won in 94.

Durant not trying to fool with embiid and Giannis four times each in just the regular season.

You know kinda like LeBron learned being east with Cavs last year.

But the problem is if he wants to be THAT guy why tf did he join GS in the first place?

KD in my mind is the 2nd most overrated player after Irving. If he is as good as everyone is saying he is GSW should be sweeping through the league not dropping 2 games vs the Clippers. Put James Harden on GSW in place of KD I guarantee they win 70 games at least.

I'm 50-50 on KD moving to NY, being the beta cupcake snake that he is I expect him to instead try to force Donkey out and still stick with Curry and either Cousins or Klay. You really think KD wants a piece of Giannis?

Giannis is gonna be heir to Lebron in a couple of years this league will belong to him highly doubtful Cupcake Snake will want to go toe to toe against the beast in the east.

KD, AD and Kyrie. To join some nice pieces. From the outhouse to the penthouse.

I'll enjoy watching them fail miserably.

P.S. I doubt AD ends up in NY.

You know this how? You do realize that had he not joined the Warriors, the 2017 Finals would have been a rematch (without the nba rigging it with a Draymond suspension).

We live in 2019. What exactly is this New York media that everyone refers to?
