Bad behavior, but he's pretty good on the field. Discuss.

He'd be a game changer on the offensive side of the ball. Texans might be unstoppable. Imagine next year with

    DW4
    Hunt
    Hopkins
    Fuller
    DT

I don't understand why they released him.

If you really wanted to punish him, release him after the season is over. Releasing him now does nothing except possibly power up a division / conference rival.

Just keep him and just bench him until the season is over. Now a NE or a LAC might pick him up. Hell, we might also be in the market.

We also have Miller for another year too. Pair that with Blue and a healthy Foreman? Texans offense would be unstoppable.

    I don’t think he’s playing this season.

He can't immediately get picked up off waivers?

I don't think an NFL team touches Hunt. This reminds me of Ray Rice although not as brutal as what Ray Rice did. That and Hunt apparently lied to management about what actually happened.

Yes but I think he’s going to get suspended.

Because its the right thing to do

0% chance he plays for the Texans. This guy is a shitbag, no one is touching him. I think he is done in the NFL, reminiscent of Ray Rice

He'll need to work with his agent and plead for forgiveness, therapy, etc.. He'll be forgiven because he's still good and given another chance. Probably can be picked up on the cheap next season.

There is zero chance that the first thing the Texans do after Bob passing is sign someone that pushed/kicked a woman on video

He’ll probably sit out the rest of the year then picked up sometime in the off-season.

Wish we would pick him up but Texans are the type of team to take this risk.

I'm not saying the dude shouldn't be punished. But if I was KC, I'd rather stash him so that other teams can't pick him up, vs some contending team picking him up and getting production against us in a future game.

Regardless though, you're right. No team is going to touch him with a 10-foot pole.

The entire situation is eerily similar to Rice. Both on really, really good contending AFC teams. Both players can run and catch it well. Both players in their prime. Crazy stuff.

No way Texans touch him. The video matters. It takes the gray area totally away.

It's not the same as Ray Rice. The video is not nearly as bad as Ray Rice's which was horrific. In this case Hunt pushed a woman and kind of kicked her on the ground (not really with a ton of force)

Rice was 28 at the time and was in clear decline. Hunt is a 23 year old star RB with at least 4 seasons of elite play left in him. Some team will pick him up because he is a game changing type player.

    Nope. No way.

One of the Grudens will pick him up eventually. He's done for the year.
