    Full Reel

    Some sign translations:
-No, no, no to Al Qaida
-No to Al Qaida, no to terrorism; this is a young people's revolution
    - Arrest the killers [lit. armed men] today
    -No place for Al-Qaida here
-The flavor of terrorism is not for Libya
-Enough retaliation, we want [cut off, probably "peaceful"] reactions
-Islam is innocent, the traitors are spoiling our [cut off]
-Do you reward for good other than good?
-Whoever has no conscience, remember that Allah is patient with you but does not forgive the sins of unrepentant wrongdoers.

Its unfortunate that minority groups within societies can so easily put everyone in danger. Im sure there was fear of retaliation and genuine remorse throughout these crowds and I think these people are forgotten while the politicians play.

Some might view this as a ploy to gain sympathy. Some have said the attacks on our embassy were a declaration of war.... What do you think?

Not to say it's not nice to see....but how come there were like 10 people holding the same sign? Really seems all setup...

    regardless, it's encouraging....

    RIP those killed. :(

I'm it is partially due to the fact that it's one of the few signs in english. I wouldn't doubt that many people there don't know much, and want to be seen with the sign in our own language.

Also, I would have to assume that most supporters of those who perpetrated the killings are almost a fanatical about their beliefs. Associating themselves with any protest, even to manipulate an adversary, seems unlikely.

    I like the "profit".
Seriously though, there'd be a lot less violence if people didn't lump groups together.

Are you sharing accounts with RM95 again? Because in the last week, your posts have been much, much weaker than what I would expect from you. I'm talking really bad. Like what's above.

By the way, how is it that after 13 years and 22,000+ posts, you can't find it within yourself to reward Clutch with even ONE DIME of your money? Shame on you. SHAME ON YOU.

I would be willing to bet money that RM95 authored the quoted post above. You two have shared accounts in past, so this isn't new. Just my gut, but it's usually right.

By the way, contribute to the site, you cheap little boy!

How much do you trust your gut? If you're right, I'll leave the site forever. If you're wrong, you leave the site forever. Deal? Clutch could be the arbiter.

News flash douchebag. Forums are free, there is obligation from the community or Clutch to pay/contribute to use his site. Its a donation. Wish it could have been an anonymous one since some members here want to berate others for not donating and using their contributing member status to justify the BS that flows from their mouths.

    Cough cough. Trader_Jorge.

How much does a person need to donate? I sent like $10-$15 bucks about a year ago but I've missed out on all of the glory and validation I hoped for.

You are such a socialist, telling other people what to do. You have no place in a freedom loving country like America.

It is nice to see, but we have been fooled enough times by selective pictures to put any faith in the prominence of these photos.

I'm not denying that Libyans are against these actions - I'm certain they are. But I wouldn't place too much emphasis on these pictures since there is plenty of better evidence to show that most Libyans would oppose such actions.

As I sift through the news this morning, I'm becoming really really really irritated about the fact that this was known to be a planned terrorist operation, and it was initially passed off as the reaction to an amateur movie.

We need to be less Romney-esque in our reaction to this sort of news. We've all been burned too many times to jump to immediate conclusions.
