I have Altuve right behind Hakeem for greatest Houston sports legend ever.

    Bagwell had some great years.

However Altuve gets my vote because he has more than just numbers. He has consistently come through when it matters. He has an OPS of 1.100 this series when everyone stood around holding their dicks counting on Cole and Verlander to win the series.

The way he rounded the bases, you could see that he’s still focused on that title. He just sent the Yankees home in one swing.

    Don't even.

In 273 qualifying playoff at bats, Bagwell and Biggio combined for 4 home runs.

In 170 at bats, Altuve has 13 home runs. THIRTEEN.

I can go into the rest of the playoff stats if you want, as well. Let's just say. Let's just say Altuve has more RBIs than the two of them combined, he hit almost 60 points higher, outslugged them by 200 points and his OPS is 200 points higher as well.

Bagwell and Biggio don't belong in the same sentence or discussion as Altuve when it comes to playoff baseball, although I get that's not what you were specifically referencing.

Let me say again, in 100 less at bats, this man who is 5 foot 6 (supposedly) and goes maybe a buck 60, has more home runs and RBIs than probably the next two best hitters this team has ever seen, combined.

I want to see Hardens reaction. I want to see Harden and Russ and what they look like when they see Championship level performance live in action.

Altuve is the best pure hitter the Astros have ever had. He hits anyone hard. Also, he has numerous big hits in the postseason, and Bagwell and Biggio did not.
