What he said isn't factually wrong, I don't think (as much as blacks dislike being thought of as a single homongenous voting block, statistically they clearly are just that)..but is HUGELY politically incorrect, especially now. As evidenced by his even more clumsy retractions afterwards. it will probably blow over, but what he is really saying here, I think, is 'look, I've got the black vote in my pocket, but those Latinos, they're tough to corral'. Might be true, but not something you, as a politician, should ever say out loud, in front of a microphone.

I’ve been trying to tell black people for ages, some listens but others do not. Why would you continually voting for a party that takes you for granted, and only comes around every 4 years because they know they have your vote in their back pocket?

Wonder why there were no violent riots in the cities of these states? Because they had (R) governors which meant that they upheld their duty to protect citizens and their property and would've use the state's Nat. Guard instead of posturing for political optics like the pathetic (D) governors did. They also didn't send C19 positive folks back into nursing homes, to up the death counts. Everyone knew the elderly were the most compromised. The only reason I can think of is there is it's an election year.
If you think our death count is impressive then all I can do is wonder how. Meanwhile in Texas over 200 people a day have been dying this past week from Coronavirus.
