James Harden's New Signature Shoe

These are the first pair of basketball shoes I would actually call dope. I normally hate sneaker heads

I have friends that have spent thousands of dollars on jordans and shoes that all look the same every year and would never really wear but they treat them like museum pieces and I like to give them a hard time

I'm just saying these are the first pair where I'm like damn I would actually buy two pair to rock in public casually and another to keep. I just really like them

Looks like someone is selling the display sizes of the Harden Vol 2 that they got in early (Size 10).

Not my size otherwise I would get them myself.

 

Does one shoe have L on it and the other J?

 

This shoe is super ugly but it may look better in person.

 

Anybody one of the lucky 40 that got a a free pair of the all red Vol. 1 (with donation) last game?

A couple slight changes could have been these shoes really dope imo.

Instead of the “lace paneling” being embossed/embedded into the shoe it were more sown in or “on top” of the shoe underneath.

Also, instead of the lace paneling ending mid shoe creating a weird square, I’d like if it went all the way to the sole at the front angle it provides while the back continued wrapped around the heel.

Additionally how it wraps around the back and comes up for the rear tongue, if it stayed low all the way around and the “underneath” came up in its own I believe would also looked way better.

Idk if any one understand my vision of what I’m speaking by alas it’s just me ranting.

Being such a huge fan of the volume 1s I’m still really disappointed in the 2s. These new maroon colorways look much better than the original concept.

I’m still going to hold it final judgement until I see them in person by as of now I am not a fan

 

I with you there. These shoes are dope in the right colorways.

 

Those all black with gold stripes look pretty dope. Some of these colorways aren’t half bad.

More interested in seeing them now. Total mind change in a matter of 30minutes

 

What’s the price point for the Vol. 2’s? I’m probably not gonna cop them, I’m not a fan of the lacing system.

I’m thinking about getting the PG2’s when they release next month.

 

I think the Vol 2 look much better, more like something anyone could wear for the style and not just for basketball.

 

What I’m hoping for is that this version is just a performance monster. That seems to be the trend of some of the changes that were made.

- Even more experimental looking traction
- Higher heel cup for better lockdown
- Lacing system should have better lockdown
- Thicker boost but with more caging

First model seemed tilt slightly in favor of aesthetics vs performance, this model appears like they sold out on performance aspects.

Will see how it plays though.

 

I guarantee it'll be a better performing shoe, and Vol 1 was one of the top performing shoe already for guards
