    Did Dmo tell you that?

I watched the CBA and there are some decent teams, the Shanghai Sharks would disappoint, but the Rockets keep on inviting them because of ties to Yao.

I'd say if you compared overall strength, CBA easily beats the NCAA. People forget there are some REALLY REALLY horrible teams in the NCAA. Take the WCC for example. Gonzaga is the clear top dog there, and BYU/SMC might surprise you once in a few years, but the other teams are just filled with future accountants. There are so many more teams like that than there are teams like Duke/Kentucky etc.

No kidding? There are 351 D-1 basketball teams and 20 CBA teams. Take the top 20 and then compare.

Why? The argument isn't about the top20 teams, it's about the overall strength. But... I think the argument would still hold even if we were to compare top20 vs top20. You got grown ass men with NBA experience like Ty Lawson, Jason Thompson, Yi Jianlian, Shabazz Muhammad, Carl Landry, Marreese Speights, Luis Scola, Jared Sullinger, Jimmer Fredette... They might not be sexy names for an NBA fan, but they're still among the best players out there outside of the NBA. Even a 42-year old Stephon Marbury would probably dominate against the D-1 teams.

Good eye. This 2020 draft will be even better. Rockets need to buy some 2nd round picks the talent will slip that far. Anthony Edwards, cade Cunningham, wise man, anthony Cole, rJ hamptom, lamelo ball.

    Hindsight is always 20/20.

Zion had Lebron like hype coming out of HS and even during his tenure at Duke. I'm pretty sure 30 out of 30 NBA teams would have made Zion the #1 pick regardless of what their team needs may have been.

I still felt that Ja would be a star... he played with tons of passion in college and legit wanted to destroy everything in his path. I'm glad that he panned out but hate that he is a Memphis Grizzly.
