i hope to see more tubes that shows: how Cops & Black suspects are naturally good people and will learn how to co-exist with each others one day
That video reminds of a documentary film that I've forgotten about since I watched it 13 years ago. So just now I looked for it on YT and found it !
those are definitely worthy suspects ,meanwhile this might've something to say about the topic. my colleague (Israeli Jew ) & I frequently broke the law (allegedly) , admitting ineligible patients for treatment by passing a few documents here and there . we've our differences and such but the end justify the means ,wasting people's taxed money is truly irresistible
I'm surprised there aren't more reactions to this video. I actually found it moving and a video that gives hope. I guess more people would have come out of the woodwork if I had posted something where the Muslims would have attacked the Jew...
I think sadly on this bbs if not in the world people will respond more to something where they can attack or counter attack based on their own position. Things that show hope and positives from both sides don't generate as much interest. I think with the media coverage of hopeful things being so under represented, it is definitely worth taking note of this instance where people's best instincts won out over their worst partisan complaints.
Best thread ever created by ATW/SJC. I think it shows the fundamental goodness in people and that the vast vast majority of people want peace and subscribe to a higher place regardless of race, religion, or politics.
Only been to Israel once (both Tel Aviv & Jerusalem (west and east) - For the most part, the people there are very warm and friendly. They place a high value on life. While there are small pocket neighborhoods you don't want to drive in on the Sabbath, or let ladies where revealing clothing, those are small in size and are comprised of the minority of ultra-ultra-orthodox Jews; They are few in numbers. Most Israelis are political moderates and I'd say that Tel Aviv is just as progressive, if not more progressive, than a place like L.A. Great video ATW - thanks for posting
I'm afraid your reputation, however right or wrong it may be perceived, may have limited the clicks here. This was true in my case, but I'm glad I got bored and checked it out. Some of us view these reactions as the norm rather than the exception.
While this may be surprising to most Americans..I've been to East Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The people in most of Israel (both Arabs and Jews) are typically very warm people. I'd argue that Tel Aviv is actually progressive on par with San Francisco. The problem is that most people have already chosen their side with regards to Israel and believe Israel to be either "all good" or "All bad". The Conflicts with Israel are complex and 2-sided with Israel and Hamas BOTH needing to make changes. Unfortunately most people will only see the see/read/watch stories that only validate their preconceived ideas about what is actually going on - that's our American Privilege showing through.
