But why would you want to give him shots Harden, Paul or Gordon can be taking? It doesn't make sense, we have plenty of offense as it is now.

Who do u suggest we go after then? Cousins isn’t my 1st choice, I’d much rather have a Paul George or somebody like that, but Cousins could be the most attainable star, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Morey went after him if he gets put on the block.

my dream scenario is getting Lebron or Paul George in free agency next summer

Probably not going to dominate down low, but the game has shifted from that. We just need Cs that can stop other big Cs.
It will be interesting to see how we play against Minny and the spurs this year.

Capela in two games has a TS% of .729 (one game was vs the Warriors who have a very good “team” defense).
Grant it he played limited mins in that game because the Warriors force bigs to pressure the ball handler coming
off screens. Question is how does Cousins guard KD/Curry/Thompson on the perimeter? If soft, they will have a field
day. Just FYI, People shouldn’t sleep on WCS. He is raw, but very active. Hubble Brown was praising his game
constantly during the game. I agree with him.

So it’s a question as to what the Rockets need or want. Some want a shooter/scorer.

Cousins can score and create space as a 3-point shooter. USG% would probably cut into CP3/Harden’s shots.
But then again, i was ok with me Melo sporting a USG% of 28% if joining the Rockets. I’m just not sure Cousins
would take a back seat to Harden/CP3. Cousins act silly when CP3 is an opponent.

Rockets scheme kinda likes the center having a role much like DeAndre Jordan.
    D Jordan (2016/17): .714 FG%, 13.8 TRB, 1.7 Blk, 12.7 pts, 21.9 PER, .673 TS%, 4.3 Blk%, 15.3 USG%
    Capela (2 gms 17/18): .727 FG%, 10.5 TRB, *1.0 Blk, 17 pts, 34.9 PER, .729 TS%, **3.6 Blk%, 24.5 USG%

Do I think Capela can keep it up? Not sure. I feel he can log 28 mins like he did vs Kings. And put up
    decent numbers.

    *
1.2 blks per game last year (16/17)
    **4.1 Blk% last year (16/17)

Better solutions short and long term than Capela:

Cousins - just put up 35 against the Warriors. Continues to have good games against them. Getting DMC will really give us a shot to beat them in a 7 game series

Nic Vucevic - check out his box score yesterday. 41 points include 6-8 from three! Suddenly, he's a stretch 5 god. Perfect fit for the Rockets

We're not playing fantasy basketball though and neither of those guys play a lick of defense.

Imagine Nerlens Noel getting the lobs and running floor on O and D. Better shot blocker and perimeter defender than Capela too. His value is low now because coming off bench behind Nowitzki.

    http://insider.espn.com/nba/hollinger/statistics

Capela #5 in PER at 35.24
Nene #6 in PER at 34.99

It's a great time to be a teammate of Harden.

    Also, Giannis

Issue isn't Capela. Issue is that our forwards don't have much offensive skill and are very very inconsistent.

We need to get better at either the 3 or the 4. You can't have BOTH Ryan AND Ariza as your starters and be a serious playoff threat in this league when you have OKC, GS, and SA

He's also dumber than a rock, and has a lot of personality issues. I'd take him, cause I'm a market maker just at a very specific cost.

    Lol.

Embiid will eat you Capela. Capela can't even handle 37 year old Pau.

    Clint had 16 points, 20 boards, and 4 blocks in 32 minutes...his 3rd double-double in 5 games

he's even made his last 7 free throws

this guy just keeps getting better, I'm happy for him

Numbers were never his problem. It's his atrocious Post-defense. He can't handle skilled bigs 1on1
