If EG were available this offseason, should we try to reobtain him?

I'm not against it, I'm not sure living in Jersey is the best thing for him. I don't even think it likely in the least, but you never know, stranger things have happened; McDyess has been a Nugget twice, and a Sun twice, with a stint in New York thrown in. I would love to see EG back with us, not very likely, but what are your two cents?

Why did you open up a thread on a former player we got rid of? Do you think we would want to get him back after all the crap we had to go through the past 2 years? No.

    NBA Dish?

I couldn't imagine giving up more to the Brooklyn Nets than we already have for EG. I would personally call for C. Dawson's head.

    Good question though.

    Notice to Clutchfans.net members:

GIVE UP ON EDDIE GRIFFIN! GIVE UP! GIVE UP NOW!! HE'S GONE! NEVER COMING BACK! THERE IS NO EDDIE GRIFFIN!

Have we learned nothing from the Eddie Griffin debacle? Namely, Eddie Griffin is nothing but hassle? That he's trouble? That he's a bust? Let's pay attention to the lessons Eddie taught us. Let's stop caring about Eddie Griffin.

I think that JVG has made it clear that he will not tolerate underachievers on his team. EG gone. Moochie and Manboobs traded. Piatkowski benched until he can find his shot.

Look at the work ethic of our team, and ask yourself if EG really has a place here. I really don't think so.

Seriously, that's why he didn't get along with the Rockets. All of them work hard! He's not! Besides, he's antisocial. Who needs someone who has NO WORK ETHICS whatsoever on our team? Jim Jackson is ten times the man EG ever be! (on court)

i do not mind one bit that he is gone but it still makes me upset to think that we could have TRADED him during many points in his career and gotten back something of value in his place... :(

Just a note: EG will play against the Rockets later this month.

    Any comments on that?

In fact, he's been practicing for a while and he'll also play the 2 games before the Rockets game, so he'll be in decent shape I guess.

Anyone think he'll burn us, especially with Kidd feeding him?

There are still charges pending, so this may be a look nito Eddie's future in Houston... in a penitentiary.

EG has had so many chances and he blows them time after time. It's time to give up on that guy.

Yes we should get him. He reminds me of Tim Duncan, Shaq, and MJ. EG could play PG for us.
