For those that don't have cable or a satellite dish our current choices for live tv via streaming is Hulu TV or Sling TV. I too, have kodi. But I also like to watch live tv. Yes I use sports devil for live sports. I like CNN and AMC, those I like to watch live. Kodi is okay with live tv for the most part. Other times, can't get a good stream to load up.
I don't have Hulu Live yet But Im considering it. Hulu's normal service is good and I had nothing but problems with Sling TV, so I would guess Hulu is better
I think I will be giving Vue a try next time around. I had sling and it was just ok. Rabbit ears work great. You might also be amazed by how many channels you could get by just hooking up to the coax cable and scanning.
VHB, how you just gonna ignore PS Vue sitting there looking all good atop the list of streaming choices? Don't you wanna prosper? You just gonna look at #2 and #3? Aim for #1. You can have it breh. Go get it.
PlayStation Vue. YouTube TV will be available in the Houston area within the next couple of weeks, that may be worth checking out as well.
Does anybody experience bandwidth usage issues with their streaming service? I was going over my usage rate constantly with the use of Directv Now streamed through my Apple tv
I did my first month using Vue. After that I got an antenna and Tablo for local channels and problem solved. Well, that and creating Netflix and YouTube profiles that have the image quality capped at SD specifically for my daughter to use. On average now I'm around 750-800gb a month. And that's with two Apple TVs, a Roku, and at least 7-8 other wireless devices connected to WIFI.
