I think Scola gets a 5 year 42.5 million dollar contract. 8.5 million per season.

Lowry gets a 4 year 24 million dollar contract. 6 million per season.

Or what do ya'll think about their contract possibilities?

I was hoping for 6 million a year but if he continues playing as he has then 7-8 million for 3 to 4 years easy. Lowry should be 3.5-4 million for 2-3 years so nothing new there. Luis is interesting though because I can see someone offereing 5 for 55 which would make him overpaided so at that point what does Morey do then?

Scola: 3 year $20M, third year is team option.
    Lowry: 5 year $20M

Exactly what I was going to post although Lowry's 5th year would probably be a player option

Scola ~$7M per season, Lowry ~$4M.

Of course, Morey can wait for them to get offers and then simply match them, so we might get a great deal like we did for Landry.

EVERY TEAM will go after these 2 guys. at least morey has publicly stated that he will do whatever to keep lowry. i don't think the same sentiment has been expressed in regards to scola :(

Scola is NOT gonna get a 5 year deal from us, I'd guess 3 years at 6 mil for him. I can see Kyle getting 4 years 4 mil. Seems reasonable and you just about double both their salaries.

Not as much as we think it will, because both are restricted free agents, and the teams with cap space won't overpay for either two.

Scola is defeinitely worth more than the MLE, but which teams with cap space is gonna pay more than MLE for the soon to be 30 year old? The Super 8 teams with max space will more likely than not go after bigger, younger, flashier fish than Scola. My only fear is Oklahoma City. They're a young, up and coming team with at least 10M in cap space, and could use a guy like Scola. They could decide to make an offer like the frontloaded Paul Milsap offer Portland, just so they can make Les pay more luxury tax, even though there are other bigs available like camby, brad miller, jermaine oneal (to name a few). So my guess is we get Scola back by us matching a MLE offer, or we're nice and offer a fair 20M/3yr contract.

I can see some team trying to pry Lowry away for the full MLE, and I see us matching. I'm sure Morey would prefer not to have to pay full value, but Lowry is so good, SOME team is gonna want him to be their starter and play him a starter's salary. We're still gonna match.

So, together, i say scola and lowry cost us 10-11 million.

if Scola keeps this level of play, another team could offer him close to 10M for at least 3 years. in that case, i guess we lose him.

He did say he would match any offer for Luis, but I think the Chron mentioned Lowry would be matched on two different occasions, while Scola's name was mentioned once.

I think a lil less for Scola and a lil less for Lowry, Kyles near Turkoglu money thats too much for a backup altho i feel he would be a great starter, possibly over Brooks but thats a different discussin for a different thread

3-4 million for Lowry, 6-7 million for Scola is my guess right now.

Scola is underpaid, he deserves it.
