42% is below average in a league that demands parity.

Curse of the Astrodome!!! That place was filled with mediocrity and choke jobs. Until it's razed or renovated beyond recognition, the entire NRG Park will suffer in the foundering fog.

BoB is losing me. The OC calling plays is a GD buffoon.

QB sneak was stupid AF. Why not run the ball on third and 2 and then run it again on 4th if needed. Smash mouth football my ass.

I've been doing this for around 6 years, same with my Longhorns. I don't even watch the games any longer. If I'm home I'm watching RedZone all day.

I am right there with you. Loved the hire at the time but some of the offensive calls were ridiculous. He's is the opposite of Kubiak, goes for bombs when its 3rd/4th and short. Kubiak on 4th and inches would rather punt.

Sadly the Cowboys killed Savage and we have to suffer through Hoyer and Mallet the rest of the season.

THIS is where the organization needs to worry about support. They've had it in droves, regardless of the crappy product they've put on the field.

But when fans...fans like you, who are invested....start to find their failures to be more comic than tragic, that's the start of apathy.

Many here will love to call you a bad fan if you criticize the team....but if you care enough to be pissed, you're a fan...particularly with an organization like this. There is no bandwagon..there's never been one with this bunch.

Apathy is far worse for an organization than booing.

The only thing that will wake up McNair or whoever the **** runs the team is fans stop showing up.

Fans won't give up their season tickets though. There is a long wait? People want to spend thousands for a garbage product. Talk about self inflicted wounds.

Texans need to lose out and get Goff.

Start from scratch and work on basics this year.

    Fire ROC and Rick Smith.

Well Jacksonville has AFC Championship appearances and Oakland has Super Bowl rings, Miami has that undefeated season, Bills went to 4 straight SB. Sure all in the past but hey theyve done it. Us? Lol..

    Yep.

As of now, regardless of whether people are "hating" on them, "loving" them, being "trolls" or being "homers"... what happens with the Texans still CAPTIVATES this city.

In the midst of the oldest Houston sports team finally re-claiming prominence for the first time in 10 years... the city is still OBSESSED with the Texans (good or bad).

Once people stop caring, or are no longer passionate/angry/despondent/desperate for changes... THAT is when people will no longer really be "supporting" this franchise.

I like BOB, quite a bit actually. I think he gets the most out of his players. However, the OC and DC have been dreadful this year. Yes, we don't have much Offensive talent, but the play calling at times is mind numbing. Godsey needs to be gone next year.

The Defense, OTOH, has a TON of talent, and week in/out comes unprepared. That's on the DC - if there's not marked improvement by years end, Romeo also needs to be shown the door.

To answer OP - I'll always root for and follow the Texans. They are the 1 football team I follow (along with the U in NCAA...what a great weekend for me :roll eyes:), and, unless they are actively tanking, I'll watch all 16 games every year.

I ain't even mad. Today instead of 3 hours of being pissed off and simmering into the night I chuckled and then got in an early nap.

He has gotten absolutely nothing out of anyone. There hasn't been one bright spot anywhere on the team. Hell, even Watt hasn't looked like Watt.

I used to think this as well. Now, not so much. Other than Watt, our line sucks. Other than Clowney, our LB's suck. I think that KJ has potential but our entire backfield is ****.

Who the f*** cares? You can't get the next Peyton every year, and if that's your mindset, you'll never get a QB.

He's moved on to "all white players suck", in fact he posited a theory earlier that the reason the Texans are bad is because their best player is white and the reason the Rockets are good is because their best player is black.

He really is a "special" kind of person.
