How much does one donate to TipJar to get contributing member status? I donated about $10 a month ago, nothing has happened to me. I messaged Clutch and hasn't heard anything.
He'll get around to it. It's the end of the season and the playoffs are coming up so I'm sure he's super busy and I suspect you're not the only one. It takes a while but you'll get the update if you contributed I'm sure.

I thought it has to be a certain amount to get "Contributing Member" status Donated $20 long ago but didn't get the Contributing Member. Still get all the features on the boards though
Yeah. I can only message him through Email. He must be busy then. I was just curious if there is a minimal amount. I didn't see it on the website.
There is no minimum that I know of, but you need to make sure you put your member name when sending the contribution so he knows where it is coming from.
I will try that, but if it is true to take $20-$25 to do it, it is quite disappointing. If there was some rule saying about the minimum donation, I wouldn't have waited so long.

First: ANY communication with the mods must be thru email, there is not a PM system here and if you leave a message on the "visitor messages" part they probably won't see it if they are like me and don't check that part of their user control panel like ever. Second: Clutch is the only person that deals with tip jar transactions so don't email DrOfDunk, Castor, Jeff or me about it....we can't help you. Send an email to clutch@clutchfans.net and include three things...1) your username 2) the transaction code from PayPal 3) the date you sent it If you give him that info he can look at the transactions and properly credit the right member....but you must be patient...remember he is a very busy guy both on here and IRL.
What I did was "message through email" to Clutch with all the information you mentioned in March. I will send another email to clutch@clutchfans.net then. Thanks
I donated a few weeks back. Everyday, I anxiously check to see if my status has changed. Seeing that some people donated over 3 months ago and still haven't had their status updated is a little bit discouraging.
