Houston, we have an identity problem. One reason not to trust nbadraft.net... http://nbadraft.net/profiles/cuttinomobley.asp
Cuttino Mobley sure does look like Jim Jackson. BTW, you should be beaten for the thread title. It hasn't been funny since the 70's.
Odd. NBAdraft.net wasn't around in 1998, so I'm trying to figure out why they'd have a profile of Cuttino/JJ.
Haha, why is Jimmy Jackson's face everywhere? It's like he's the default NBA player photo or something.
I like the cite but it has major blinders, for example Dukieitis. Paraphrasing here: "Mike Dunleavy Jr is the 2nd coming of Larry Bird", "Chris Duhon will be top 5 pick in 2004"
I saw that one a while back. My first thought was that the guy actually looked a lot like JJ, then I was like that is JJ. Amazing that 2 websites would have that kind of thing happen with the same player.
I see it now.... it all makes sense... after the New Orleans trade from the Rockets.. Jim got fed up with his role as a player.. he figured out his position as a guard has led him to many of his trades.. so to make it all clear, Jim changed his name to.. Zan and grew 7 inches in the period where he was missing from the Hornets camp. Then changed his number to honor Mutumbo in helping him play the Center position and forced a trade to Indiana from PHX where he is supposidly now resides...! yea!
