Houston vs Texas Tech

Felt like the coverage was soft off the line of scrimmage. Not sure what will work. But they need to tighten up.

 

Corbin's mental mistakes have been the difference.

 

Anyone think Houston can come back and win this game?

 

Defense needs to tighten up and need way better tackling

 

And the defense which for the most part had no answers for the TT offense. Unless we get the momentum back, starting with opening kickoff of 3rd quarter we may be in trouble in this game.

Nice way to start the 3rdQ. I am wondering if that pass from Stephenson was planned? If not it was definitely smart move on his part.

 

There was probably linemen down the field, but other than that, it was legal.

Houston just making stuff up now. But all tied up 35-35.

Even when pressed up, the CBs get zero hands to disrupt rhythm in the bump zone. This is probably the worst defensive showing of the season of any FBS team.

 

The defense is just awful, worst I have seen in a while. Has TT been stopped even once?

 

Bowman looking like Pat Mahomes out there. No way Ed Oliver gets many votes for Heisman playing with a defense this crappy. We have to have much better defense the rest of the way to have a chance.

Hoping for a draw up the middle here. That should get us back in the game.

 

Houston's defense has given up over 700 yards in this one. Alan Bowman looks like the Heisman candidate in this one. He's only a freshman. Who knows. He looks pretty good to me. Maybe he will be one day.

 

Conditioning? Tackling? Talent is there on the field. Staffing problem.
