Another one of Morey's grand plans. First MCW and Melo, now the scrub of scrubs.

When you are a 7 footer, you will never run out of chances with NBA teams. Sheesh.

Marqueese Chriss is way better than Thabeet, and that's saying something.

Thabeet should play in Europe first.
If he plays really well, then he might be able to make a contribution to a team. Workouts with his anemic history are just not enough. I didn't mention the D-League because I don't know if qualifies for it.

Tilman probably doesnt know any lowly nba player but he has Mourney scraping the bottom of the barrel to find a cost effective player to keep him from footing that luxury bill. I hope Capela isnt that far out since he said hed be back after all star. This is probably Mourney needing to filling the required extra man for the roster and having an extra "big" is better than another guard or wing.

Worked out for the Bucks, Raptors and Sixers recently too. Can hit 3pters in a workout. Best shape of his career. Road to redemption bla bla.

I mean, I don't think we need any help at the 5 at all, and I know they have to sign a second player to a 10 day contract a month from now. So who gives a F really? We're talking about someone willing to sign 10 day contracts, I don't expect more. Just surprises me they would get this guy when we have Hart, Nene and Farid as backup 5's, giving you a variety of looks.

What's more important is whoever we sign on the 21st (in 4 days) for the remainder of the season. That better not be Thabeet.

When he said it, he knew it was BS.

He knew he would have to replace his starting SF and back up SF and move his PF.... and do all that while having nothing but minimum salaries to work with.

He couldn’t just come out and say “Yeah Tilman said no money and we are screwed”..... I’ll say this, it makes MDA and Morey saying “new match” and laughing have a new meaning under the context.

It also explains why we had a 6 man rotation for a month and Morey did nothing, guy had to sign buyout or released players.

The Rockets are serving ramen on the bus back to the “motel” and Tilman put timers on the showers at the Toyota Center so James doesn’t take too long a shower.

Ha! I remember that quote. RA was angry that Morey was coming as close to rebuilding as Les would allow.

One of the college games I happen to watch...Blair had like 23 rebounds that game and made Thabeet look like a whipped child. How anyone thought he deserved to be a high draft pick is beyond me.

I’ll say one thing no team is better than the Raptors at finding random GLeague guys and letting them become solid starters/ role players. Look at the amount of Toronto guys who came from G League and are really good now. Rockets are also one of the top teams in finding GLeague talent.

Analytics guys are great at finding good players Ujiri drafted both OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam 20ish in the draft.
