Anyone who thinks they can win in Golden State without Paul is either high or the biggest optimist of all time. It’s all going to come down to game 7 and hope Chris is some what healthy to win it all at home.

I’m hoping for a competitive effort and keep some momentum going.

    I just think:

    1) we're in their heads now
    2) they don't handle adversity well at all (see epic finals collapse while up 3-1)
    3) a physical defense totally throws them off their game
    4) it's our year

Only #4 is optimistic, the others are pretty well established at this point.

It will be a good time for James Harden to have another 60 point triple double!

I think it's going to be hard to beat them a third game in a row on their home court, but people are really overstating how "impossible" it is and how guaranteed this series is to go to 7. We're still playing against the same team we just beat twice (including on their home court) and have blown out once this series. If everybody is hitting their shots and James goes on fire we can take them down again. Is it likely? No. But it's not impossible.

Does everyone remember when we played LA in 2008 and Kobe had like 11 points on an atrocious shooting percentage in the Game 6 we stole? Its a long playoff bracket and an even longer season; and it's nearly impossible to be consistently dominant every night. I think as Houston fans we were spoiled by Hakeem who set the bar incredibly high (vocal team leader, clutch, poised, an incredible two way player who was both the best defender and the number one option). Harden deserves **** if he drops an egg the next two games and we lose. But- as I said in another thread- there's a reason he's the focal point of the offense and there's a reason why it would be such a big deal for him to beat GSW. Because he'd be doing it virtually single handedly and if we lose it won't be some BS motivational speaker "he gave 100% but the Warriors gave 115%" or because he was at a strip club the night before*. Its because its the WCF and this **** is hard.

*Unless he shows up hungover and there's a video of him at a strip club. Then feel free to bring up all that cheeky stuff ;)

Nothing is impossible but wining in oracle without Chris combine that against a angry Warriors team is close to it.

Only thing I want from James Harden is: if there is a game 7, don't shrink, win or lose.

Yep the monkey on his back has been the burden of being the rockets only supertar all these years

But with cp3 injured now and he having 2 subpar games in a row, he is expected to so everything he can ala lebron to get past gsw

It should be expected. He's the MVP. He's beaten this team in the past without Chris.

This should be a career-defining game for James.

no, @cdxiong did not act like harden owes him multiple rings by now. he didn't even say harden owes him a game 7 victory. he just wants harden to not shrink in game 7, win or lose. that's a fair request.

Yup hell i see some fans already contented with the win yesterday. saying whatever happen it's all good. Moral victory whatever. We already prove we could hang with GSW. The pressure is on the champ and we all know what pressure does to them, they crumble. they know this season rockets can take pressure situation. Gsw? They have yet to show that. Hell they havent even adjusted with Iguodalas absence in the court. They havent won against us with iggy out. And now they have to think about getting eliminated? I doubt if they can smile like the rockets right now on practice.
