One teleprompter says Rockets are going nowhere. (This is the one Richard Jefferson/Tracy McGrady/Kendrick Perkins reads)
One teleprompter says the Rockets can win it all. (This is the one Paul Pierce reads)

These dudes' opinions do a complete 180˚ after watching just one game. In this league you're only as good as your last game apparently.

never been a question 'can'.... question is will... As in will everybody put personal egos and short term glory aside for the bigger picture? Will we see a consistent defensive effort? Will MDA run the rotation for a title run and not regular season accolades?

I believe we have the talent... have had it a few years.. question is will everybody do the thankless dirty work that gets you a championship?

Rockets are a player a way from being a serious contender. Westbrook is just way too inconsistent to be relied on. You need someone else to carry the load besides Harden and Westbrook isn't that guy. He's never been that guy. Biggest mistake the Thunder made was trading Harden instead of Westbrook

Unlike MeMac, Pierce not only knows how to get past the first round, but knows how to win a championship as well.

Tracy Mcgrady thoughts don't matter. Bitter he never got as much attention from Rockets fans and a career cut short and derailed by injuries. Richard Jefferson never says anything real and original re-hashing thoughts from Colin Heard during his morning drives to work, and Kendrick Perkins is a hater in the purest form as evidenced by his run in with Drake's entourage couple years back and desperate social media attempts to stay relevant and employed. Da truth sucks as an analyst and has articulation issues but at least he says what he thinks.

Yup. Sorry ass TMAC and Kendrick Perkins trying to stay relevant. It's sad. Richard Jefferson - another sorry ass player who got by with athleticism. Can't dribble. Can't shoot. Average defender. These are the critics? smh.

Define inconsistent? Averaged a triple double last 3 years and 8-10 assists almost every year in the league along with at least over 1 steal is inconsistent? Whether you like his style or not you can't say the guy isn't consistent. If you look at let's say the beloved Luka Donkey he has several games with 7-8 turnovers. Several games shooting .200 and less from 3. Is he inconsistent as well? Westbrook's style is not for everyone. He is a high octane player and perhaps the fastest player in the league with a ferocity and vigor that is unmatched in the league--sacrificing his body and exerting every ounce of energy each game. Is that consistent enough? Sure with the high octane style of play he turns the ball over a lot. But that's the tradeoff for this style. Again you can hate his style but you cannot say the guy isn't a consistent player just because he does not fit the mold of what you believe in your mind what a great player is to be. Sure Russ can't shoot 3's. Sure he loses control sometimes but what he lacks he makes up for and that's all that matters. PJ can't dribble or drive but he can shoot the corner 3 and defend anyone. Luka Donkey can't defend or shoot 3's at a high % but he has court vision, a quick first step, and level headed. Kawhi isn't the most dynamic offensive player but well rounded on both ends. There's always holes in players games so let's celebrate and be in awe of their strengths and gifts instead of casting them off with simple judgements.

James and Russ are killing it. They are the perfect match. Opposites do attract, and the magnetic energy is stronger than ever. Loving it!

Maybe they should have traded Durant since he was going to snake his way to the Warriors anyways.
