    Get this... after mcconnell led republican efforts to limit minority party power (eg abolished filibuster for Supreme Court nominees that enabled gorusch to be approved; invoked nuclear options to reduce debate on presidential nominees), the turtle must be preparing for the possibility that Democrats will control the senate...

    McConnell doesn't have a leg to stand on. But I do agree with him. The Senate should strengthen the minority party -- somehow in a way that can't be tossed aside when it is inconvenient. Unfortunately it looks like we'll go the opposite way.

    Quite possibly the least credible person to make this argument second only to maybe Trump.

    It’s pretty crazy that McConnell is pretty much telling the world he thinks not only that Trump will get beat but that it’ll be a blue wave that’ll win back the Senate too.

    Should the Dems remove the filibuster??... only if it means getting SCOTUS spots filled if they open up. I would let RGB retire and nominate a 25 year old AOC staffer if you could.
