Wouldn't be surprised if Tim Donaghy gets murdered cold blooded style... rigged as bs.

Sounds like a troll account even though we all know the league does have some say and is fixing games

He is hardly the only one that does the pushoff
EVERYONE DOES . . Ingram did it several times last nite . . .

I notice how every step back/to the side in the corners is now a force out
Harden getting like 1 to 2 of those a game.
They are literally allowing the defense to crowd him and not allow him any movement.

yeah as long as its consistent with the rule books and its consistently called on everyone else

and before they call any push-off on harden they need to call any impediment and reach-in from the defender first

posted on NBA.com in October last year
"This season's Points of Education promise to focus on three key areas: freedom of movement on the perimeter and in the post, respect for the game and traveling.

The emphasis on freedom of movement is geared toward cutting down on arm wraps, grabbing and dislodging by both offensive and defensive players.

Traveling will be called in any instance where a pivot foot is switched or picked up prior to dribbling."

so for half the season Silver, the league, and refs have been giving Harden and Rockets a pass?
I wonder what made them change their mind...

Actually people complain about Giannis traveling all the time.

Kcp was on receiving end of those harden push off in the sham win that the rockets stole at home in late January.

LeBron was like two feet out of the restricted area. 45 year old Shane Battier could have drew that charging violation against harden in that situation!

Sorry to ask on page 4 of this thread, but do we have any evidence this account is actually Donaghy?

Notable NBA writers like Henry Abbott retweets this account so I'm assuming it's legit.

This is new? I love me some James Harden but I think everyone realizes this. This happens with the refs every year in the playoffs. James Harden comes out with a redonculous move to start the season that turns heads and is practically unstoppable. The refs then just destroy him in the playoffs. People are acting like this is new? The fact that his actions are constantly being watched and dissected by the entire nation and league makes it even harder for him. Hopefully he and the coaching staff learn eventually and learn to not rely on ref calls.

A member here mentioned Scott is Tim's brother in law, that is not true is it? Either way, the history and relationship between them and his consistency in incorrect calls in Rockets game paired with the fact that Donaghy is still gambling on games, the league does not need to be notified, shouldn't it be the FBI? There is no reason Foster should still have a job, he needs to be looked at more in depth.

    Who?

Can you link me please, would like to see what they say.

Haven't heard one single thing about it.

Although I have basically tuned out of the NBA after last season's WCF so that may be the reason.

I'm glad a spotlight is being put on it. The more this is talked about, the more the officiating will be watched closely. Harden is not faking anything to get those fouls, he is using the rules.

Anyone who saw what transpired during the WCF could see the clear biased towards the Warriors by the officiating crews led by Foster

When it is said Harden is using the rules that is misleading. Every NBA player that competes within the confines of the rules is using the rules. This narrative that James is getting away with something is wrong. He is following the rules and playing his game. If a defender is out of position you don't bail him out by moving away from the fact that mistake was made you should exploit that mistake. Thats basketball to defenders credit they are doing a better job not falling for James Headfakes and the stepback consequently no call. However if you look at the closeouts they are letting people touch his hand on the follow thru and get close to his landing. Just look at the elite players PG 13 Lebron Irving Durant Curry Klay you better not touch them on their follow thru or get as close on a closeout as what people do with James or else.

This is why the playoffs is tougher for james. Refs are extra cautious not to call fouls on drives and most especially fouls from three. That game 7 last year will be a constant in our playoff run. This is why we need better offensive options other than iso. Lower probability of continuations and foul baiting expeditions being called. It is very obvious that most refs officiate the rockets differently, especially james. They must feel like any foul call is a slight on them and would be like falling for hardens trickery.

This dude is talking about Harden’s “3 hops” and saying his Euro step is out of control. What does he even mean by that?

I’m mainly worried about the refs pulling some BS if we’re playing a popular team like GS, OKC, or LA in the playoffs. They will not give Harden the benefit of the doubt against those teams.

The button men who killed Michael Jordan's father are probably still available.
