Yep. Needs money, likes notoriety. So he opens his mouth and spews crap occasionally to keep his name in the headlines.

Everything you need to know about Tim Donaghy can be summed up by this one truth: The guys who he was fixing games for were betting millions per game on games Donaghy agreed to influence. For his game-fixing services, he charged then $2000 per game.

The guy is simply an unprincipled moron.

Anyone know if this is a real account? I don’t doubt what he’s saying, but it just seems phony. Like a bitter fan (trust me I’m bitter too) created it to try to prove to the world we got robbed and will continue to get robbed.

Donaghy will spew any lie necessary to deflect from the fact that he was fixing games. He still claims he only bet on them and never did anything to impact the scores. Furthermore, he has no friends in the league. No other ref will speak to him, even his former best friend Foster.

Thus, as appealing as this might be, it’s about as reliable as a ‘72 Fiat.
