No Stros last night so turned to the Cards/Braves game and watched Gregerson give up a pair. Then watched the Twins/Mariners and Castro hit a homer and Marwin singled and scored. Well, it wasn't the Stros, or was it?
10 Low-Cost MLB Deals Paying Dividends https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/05/10-low-cost-mlb-deals-paying-dividends.html Brian McCann, Braves, $2MM: The original behind-the-dish McCann hasn’t been flashy but has delivered everything the Braves hoped for when they brought him back to town. He’s producing right at the league average offensively through 92 plate appearances, grinding out tough at-bats by walking nearly as often as he’s striking out. The grizzled veteran is obviously valued as much or more for his ability to work with pitchers and nurture a youthful clubhouse as he is for his on-field contributions. It seems fair to say this is working out quite nicely thus far.
Wasn't sure what thread to put this in but this was from my fantasy baseball league and I was taken back a bit... Looks like Cavan Biggio is on the cusp of being called up to Toronto.
The Blue Jays have the sons of Dante Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero, Craig Biggio and Jeff Conine as top prospects. They apparently love good bloodlines.
Fifth round. Maybe asking too much, but why didn't we draft him if he fell out of the top 3 rounds? Would have been nice.
Biggio with his first HR, and apparently the Gurriel family has a preferred hairstyle. https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/85f7fcaf-b57a-4b3a-84ee-5639a089931b.mp4
