I don't care to look it up, but how much money did he make or lose? Given interest and such.

Was never publicly disclosed. Rumored to be in the 6 figure range.

I don't recall what his signing bonus was.

They traded him to the Phillies rather than exercise his $6+ million option.

when I was growing up... Eric Anthony was my favorite Astros .... don't ask me why, but I always liked the young Astros OFers... Gerald Young, Eric Anthony, Louie Meadows, Karl Tuffy Rhodes and etc...

Bud Norris going strong this year...

The Ringer: "He’s striking out a higher percentage of opposing hitters than Mariano Rivera ever managed in a season."

Can't remember, but I think we may have even got cash from the Phillies in that deal. Save money and get money.

Basically, Bud Norris and Brad Peacock are the same person.

Well, then, so are Peacock, Devenski, Feliz, Diaz and Hoyt As well as Norris's fellow pitcher from the Angels, Blake Parker.

3 #1 picks, one superstar and 2 complete disasters. Thank goodness we didn't take Buxton.

Wonder what is going on with Colby Rasmus. He has suddenly stepped away from the Rays and is not expected back this season.

Aiken turned into Bregs, so I don't know that I would say his selection was a complete disaster.

And Appel was part of getting Giles, that doesn't stop either player from having been a disaster.

Aiken may be a complete disaster, but the number 1 pick used on Aiken was not.

Very likely we would have got Bregs anyway, but we wouldn't have got Tucker. So yea good chance that isn't a disaster
