    Wow on Ryan Thompson. Good for him. Between Thompson, Elieser Hernandez, and Yohan Ramirez, that’s 3 young arms who never ranked in Houston’s Top 30 prospects that are on opening day rosters.

    Ken Giles tasked with protecting a 2-run lead for the Jays against Tampa. After getting the first two outs, he loads 'em. Down 3-1 in the count, he's pulled for Brian Moran (brother of former Astro Colin). Moran gives up 2 runs. Sends it into extras. Moran with the blown save, but Giles charged with the runs.

    Under the circumstances, so would I. Braves seem to think he lost his stuff, and his velocity is down, but as early as it is, and as screwed up as spring training was, I’d take a flyer on him for sure.

    I'm watching Folty's game right now. If we can get him for nothing and get the Braves to pay for him to pitch in Houston... fine. So far in the 1st he topped out at 93. Don't we have 4 spots open on the 60 man roster?

    Considering all the sore arms we need every bit of help we can get.

    Glasnow was the opponent pitcher. Absolutely nasty.
