That's a stupid comment lol. First of all, we're 5-3 when Harden scores 22 or less. Two of those losses were in October against Memphis, where CP3 was out. The other loss was against a hot Wizards team in December when Luc was out.

SO, when this team is fully healthy, Harden can score 22 and we can still easily win. OH and by the way, one of those famed nights where Harden only scores 22 points was a win against GSW ;)

Ok, that puts things a bit more into context, but that doesn't dispute the facts that the Rockets are better. You can speculate that it is because the league is worse, but that doesn't explain the Rockets beating 2 out of 3 over one of the teams that supposedly lead to the league getting worse. The same team that beat the Rockets 2/3 the previous year (with an OT loss) and had completely dominated them since becoming a super power (even before Durant).

One point I do agree with, and another reason for concern for the Rockets in the playoffs, is their reliance on ISO. But again, you can express your skepticism over that brand of basketball being conducive to playoff success without losing focus of the fact that the Rockets are indeed a better team than they were last year.

If Kenny Smith tried harder, he could get out of his obligation in the NCAA tournament. He chose a yearly tournament over a 20 year anniversary. He had a choice, but he chose to get paid by NCAA than by the Rockets. This man would wear columbia blue and white at Toy. Center than wear Rockets gear.

Sam Cassell had to work for the Clippers as well.
Does he face the same judgement?

Cassell truly had a job, but he may have an excuse still he had a choice. Otis Thorpe rarely does public appearances and he showed up. I would understand Thorpe than former players that didn't go.

Didn't Doc River (Clippers coach), KG, Rondo go to P.Pierce's jersey retirement?!?!?!?!?

Tinman- we are all Rockets fan, 1 thing for sure.

What? Kenny doesn't have a job? He's got to the NCAA Tournament, you realize that's the most important time in March for basketball

Back to the topic, people are overreacting to Kenny's comments and with their everyone hates the Rockets golem creature yelling in their ear 'Kenny hates us'

Strange as it sounds, landing James as a free agent – which would require general manager Daryl Morey to wheel and deal his way into salary cap space that currently doesn’t exist – would likely be the cheapest way to go. Yet if James were to take Paul’s strategy from last summer, picking up the player option on his deal while forcing a trade from Cleveland (and with Paul likely taking a less-than-max deal to return), the bill would be massive. Fertitta & Co. – none of whom discussed these scenarios involving James – will cross this bridge when they get to it.

It doesn't matter what number you have, you are underdog.

The Rockets are a non-story to the NBA right now. They're only forced to acknowledge them because of their record. You can bet your life savings they'd rather run stories all day about Lavar Ball and the injured Lonzo Ball over covering an excelling Rockets team.

SI didnt even want to print a Rockets cover after the first championship if i remember correctly. You might as well get used to it and get over it. East coast and West coast are all that matters to them. They call us fly over territory.

Sad really. I never knew there was so much disdain for non-coastal cities until the last few years. Its really shocking actually. I knew they thought they had it figured out more than the rest of us, but now they have this hate and/or dislike.

Nope, until the entire city of Houston started canceling their SI subscriptions.

What are you saying "nope" to ?

SI propped the Rangers' victory and put Houston on the back-burner.

Rockets haven't proven anything in the playoffs. Let the skeptics talk.

Smith has valid points. Rockets beat the Warriors come playoffs then the future coverage will change.

Rockets have a great shot at winning the title but we've seen Harden and Cp3 fall short . Rockets remind me of the Astros.

Not every franchise has won championships, yet everyone has a message board.

Conclusion: this site would still exist, just under a different name.

Not hated just disappointed when justified. How can one hate players that brought joy to H-Town!
